We have an extensive agricultural economy and fishing industry, technological companies and auto companies looking to expand their product reach. As well as shipping via the merchant fleet which can transport rombarda goods at an increased rate giving you access to our shipping resources at a low rate.”

"Well, as it stands, Rombarda actually produces its own foodstuffs in abundance. We don't take as much in the way of exotic foods however, rather we're an exporter of region-specific fruits and vegetables, wine, so on. We have our own large fishing economy as well, but I do think that furthering expanding the reach of either would actually be beneficial. Perhaps we could work out some arrangement to open our ports to fishing ships of either nation?" He'd say. "I admit It's been too long since I've had tuna salad." He'd chuckle.
"Tech companies and auto companies would probably be welcome into the country, though we would as well like to see that our companies would be able to send their products overseas to the UKUG as well, and that these companies can engage in technology exchanges. We do also have a fair amount of what we would classify as luxury goods, such as furniture, bedding, kitchen appliances, toys, films and filming equipment.." There had been more on that list but he didn't go down it fully.
"Access to your shipping fleet would help to get these across too, though we do have our own merchant fleet. We could offer it to in exchange for access to yours and pay at an increased rate, though preferably maybe 75% of what you had in mind with the first."

Haney would address each of the Rombarda offers.
"We would be open to letting Rombarda fish in Gaelian waters under the mutual allowance of Gaelian fishermen being in Rombarda. I think our people are rather hooked on anything that comes from the sea, so i'm sure Rombarda fish would find a strong market."
"It's fully expected to have Rombarda companies export products to us, a fair exchange to strengthen the markets and encourage competition. As for the shipping fleet, we can agree to that exchange rate. But before I get too ahead of myself, I should note perhaps the need for a third party company to organize shipping orders and assist in streamlining both fleets so we can maximize profitability."

The Rombardan would nod his head in agreement.
"Would it be possible to establish an Embassy the UK, as well as consulates in port cities? Just so that our fisherman, should they stop to sell in your ports, are able to pick up documents and such from our consulate and can be dealt with by Rombardan authority if such is necessary." He'd ask them.
"The rest of this is agreeable, I think the Emperor will be very pleased. We also agree on the need for a third party to streamline the shipping and fleet."

"I believe there is only two or so things. The first would be potentially a naval agreement regarding some form of cooperation between or merchant and military fleets. Primarily just assistance with repairs, escorting merchant ships, so on."
"There was also mention potentially of a full Non Aggression Pact."

A telegram is sent to the Gaelian Embassy by short-wire, asking for a meeting with an ambassador to the UKUG to discuss a matter of 'urgent importance' as it would be said in the letter. They had a diplomat already ready to go and were just waiting for a reply with the time to send him.

A new Diplomat said to be the brother of A. Numerian, would be sent rather than the prior, due to health issues. He would arrive at the embassy after having gone through a de-con procedure back at the Acropolis and taken a ride in the car provided to him by the government in place of the usual means of mass transit they used, limos or buses. He would eventually end up in the lobby. He'd be a Festria, standing a good 6 or so feet. He had a scarf around his neck and over part of his muzzle, and clean red and grey facial fur. When approached he'd offer a gentle wave in place of a handshake.
