Noting the normalization of relations between Ulster-Gaelia and Kumosenkan, the Lusatian government sent an official telegram inquiring as to whether it would be possible for diplomatic relations between their nations to be resumed, as well. Lusatia having severed ties with Kumosenkan out of allegiance to its ally, during their war, and having maintained a status of diplomatic no-contact until Ulster-Gaelia restored relations.

The Kumosenkan diplomatic offices responded positively to the telegram. They offered to begin construction of a Lusatian consulate in Fuyonouso if in return a Kumosenkan consulate was constructed in their capital. They also invited Lusatian diplomats for a celebratory feast in the honor of opening the diplomatic channels between the two nations.

With the diplomatic outreach Lusatia had begun, it was easy for the government to agree to such a request for a consulate: several plots had been set aside for such a purpose, and the Kumosenkan officials were informed that construction would begin when a blueprint for a building had been provided. Enclosed with the Lusatian message was the blueprints for their own requested design: a two-story design, in the form of the prevalent architectural school of Lusatia.
Lusatia also informed Kumosenkan of the future arrival of their diplomats, a small party of five: one head ambassador, Ćukasz Jacewicz, two junior diplomats, and two staff members, intended for minor functional duties, and who would not be participating in the feast. A date for their arrival was confirmed, as well.
