Steel Quality Rises!
The Ministry of Work has reported that the fine quality of high-grade steel has risen by beyond 30% in the past months thanks to the hard effort of metallurgists across the nation ensuring their work is of the highest quality despite high quotas and administration demands. Tests have proven the quality to be a sharp increase in comparison to past production, with high-quality coal being routinely delivered thanks to the generous providence of Takpoe military transports assisting in the civil labor force.Foreman Anempri Kaben (Pelven Mill #234 Auperi) was asked about the progress of the mills, to which she presented a very optimistic summary. "The recent quotas were harsh, but nothing we couldn't meet as usual. With the Empress' administration giving us more freedom to operate in the form of subsidies to build more mill expansions. As a result, we've been able to install such time-saving systems as a direct coal chute from the railways to the furnaces, plus additional refining equipment we wouldn't have been able to obtain otherwise. The workers themselves have heavily benefited from the pay raises and new safety equipment, making them only more motivated to work harder. The steel output is expected to be shipped directly to Kumosenkan as part of the monthly quota, with a large chunk expected to make their way to the construction industry as supports and another to the defense industry in the assembly of new naval vessels.Takpoe Stands.
Foreign Agent ArrestedA propagandist suspected of working for anti-Kumo foreign powers has been apprehended on charges of libel against the honorable Queen Reitō with indirect references in their fictional literature publication, attempted to be released to the public as of yesterday. The suspect is a student at Her Majesty's Citadel of The Arts in their eighth year of study. They are expected to face the standard charges of false government opinions and accusations, negative and false accusations of the Empress, inciting civil unrest, and potentially espionage and treason. A grand court will them in the following month, until which they will remain in the Takpoe National Prison System. The expected sentence is prison camp and forfeiture of all assets.
Their publication in general displays an extremely negative review of the Takpoe government, with mild references to the Empress that treasonously depict her in an unfavorable light. Although it supposedly takes place in the near-future, it continues assumptions of Kumosenkan oppression where there are none and baseless comments on the quality of life for a farmer, which is beyond anything depicted in the publication. All copies have been seized and are awaiting destruction as soon as possible.

Military Development In Full SwingThe Territorial Army has announced the construction of several new armories to look into weapons procurement and development. While much information remains classified, it is confirmed that the Territorials will see upgrades to their equipment and tactics to deal with insurgents on the fringes of the countryside, in addition to compare higher to the rest of Touli's armed forces. Though the current military is more than capable of easily outfighting any threat given the event, the spokesman for the military suggested that the upgrades would extend the current operational lifetime of equipment and personnel.
The First Motorized Regiment was seen departing the capital today towards the countryside. It should be understood that the regiment is simply undergoing practice rounds near the coast as usual and that all other rumors are entirely false. Any mention of insurgent activity sharply on the rise is incorrect as well, for if any of the recent campaigns have shown, the Territorials have successfully dismantled several enemy bases.

1912 Food Tax Lifted
The Ministry of the Economy has announced that the Food Act of 1912 has been lifted in light of recent AP assistance efforts. Citizens will find that the prices of food items will drop significantly from here on out. The famine appears to be over for the most part. However, it is most important that we act the model kin and allow our Kumo siblings to take the first meals for their hard work in ensuring our survival. This year has been fraught with much hardship for all of Kumosenkan's people, and we have bore not the least of the weight. While you may be tempted to buy up the lion's share of food on the store shelves, have you honor intact: many starve the same hunger pains. Save some for your kin.
The lifting of the 60% tax on all imported food goods included greater grain quotas (85%) expected from the countryside to be sent to Kumosenkan for famine relief. This is expected to be eased as well, if not annulled entirely by the next couple of months. The amount of food being provided by the AP's contributions is no small number and should be taken into account when you head to work for your shifts. Remember that these hours you toil for have greater meaning. A citadel is not carved from marble in a day, and broken wings are expected for the starling to take flight.
Nevertheless, as these months move by, feel most free to share recipes for gruel amongst your working colleagues and close family. Take the famine as a lesson and make yourselves ready should we ever have to again face such difficulties in the future. The price tag will soon be dropping to only a 12% tax on the food by Vaylien. Until then, keep gruel recipes on your counter. The Empress may be harsh to us, but she is always fair. Much has been sacrificed in order to provide Takpoe with the relative safety we enjoy as of current. As Elenrians, we know what sacrifice demands- let us not allow to be wasted.
Long live the Empress!
Voices of KelsunIn recent days, a most peculiar- but certainly not bad phenomenon has taken place in the port city of Kelsun in the shape of patriotic citizens singing an lighthearted chorus as they go about their day. Original participants are part of the Kelsun Iparri Group, an organization of both young and old artists making content every month to highlight the joys of life, whether they be old or new. The last projects were small-scale murals and handmade clay statuettes gifted to friends and family, but it was only this month that such a great project was undertaken. Members have gathered in the 437-year-old city square each morning for three to seven minutes at around 6:00-7:00 PM when most are exiting work to have supper.
The songs in question have been variations of three songs in particular: "Apio Pava," (Ballad of a Fool/Joker) "Stavi-Apa, (Gentle Storms)" and "Kapii Movae" (Twirl of the Constellations). While many will recognize "Stavi-Apa" as a fond childhood memory with gentle lyrics describing the pattering of rain against glass, "Apio Pava" is around 96 years old now, written just before the death of Akel I. It takes the perspective of a Wanderer Inselni coming home to tell tales of their travels while blindly drunk, sung in an increasingly fast past as the Inselni drinks more and more through the night until the song ends with them falling asleep on the table with a grin.
"Kapii Movae" however is an entirely new song, written only a few weeks ago by metallurgist Balpi Maepara of Kelsun Foundry 13. It's a rather gaudy tune accompanied by a most enthusiastic dance that takes inspiration from both Elenria's beautiful past and present to celebrate the night sky that has changed little from when our ancestors first built our homes. The song caught on very quickly with locals, and soon regular citizens were singing alongside and dancing with the artisits as they moved from place to place. While today may be hard, smiles are only brighter through hardship, earned through our toil. The song has become so popular that it is being put on vinyl to be played on gramophone (expected to be on the store around Stay) and soon broadcast over radio so all Kumosenkan citizens can enjoy it. Make the best of your day, kinsmen!
Long live the Empress!
Radio Procurement to Become Commercial? With the hard labor of our decades, Her Majesty Queen Akel II has announced that the purchase of home radio sets way soon be a possibility. Though there are concerns over their illegal use by insurgents to receive secret messages, a good citizen has nothing to fear. The main issue remains finding factories to begin their distribution, but Her Majesty has promised a meeting with the Governor to request the requisition of at least a single factory for consumer goods.
Radio infrastructure has well been in place for years now since Territorial engineers set up broadcasting stations for rapid communication across the country. While the full extent of their capability remains a question, researchers at the University of Kesternrim remain ever dedicated to their improvement. Content to be broadcasted will be left a public question to be debated in the National Forum, so it is encouraged for mailed opinions to be sent over so they can be added to the planned session this summer.
Long live the Empress!

New Public Health Measures
The Ministry of Health has reported that a rise in hospitalizations in Merritaun has broken out in the recent month. Amid these concerns is the possibility of a contagious outbreak in the region- current reports have not shown any relation between cases, but nevertheless, it is advised to postpone any trips you have planned to the port city in order to ensure maximum safety in case an epidemic is on hand. The regional Civil Commissariat has already dispatched an inspector and multiple medical teams to the region assess the situation and secure a proper and organized response. A level 2 quarantine is in effect: anyone passing in or out must be following standard medical procedure and wear a cloth mask. Refer to Ministry of Health bulletin #4-1945 TAKPOE for more information.
Amongst the already disturbing news of criminal syndicates disrupting government operations, region's Military Commissariat has dispatched a military police force to remedy the situation and suppress corruption. While the military is rumored to be under severe pressure from encroaching issues with the Greatferns, news of a ceasefire has been passed down from the Territorial High Command. Whether it lasts will have to be proven, but for now, citizens will be relieved to know that the countryside is for once holding fire and the only cries that will pierce the air will be that of grazing cattle. This will free up multiple formations to assist in maintaining the peace in surrounding regions and ensuring medical procedure is followed.
Following reports of bootlegging, the government would like to issue an advising bulletin on the matter: Ministry of Health Special Advisory Pamphlet Remedy #1 will be distributed to all post offices as part of a new medical informational initiative. The pamphlet will guide citizens on the safe separation and extraction of ethanol from hard liquor for sanitary uses. It is advised to seek assistance and advise of elder Inselni for this matter to ensure safety. Do not forget that distribution of unauthorized liquor is a felony for violations of food safety codes. Refer to future health bulletins for more medical information on modern remedies- DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES REFER TO ELDER SCIENCES FOR TREATMENT SAVE FOR THOSE AUTHORIZED BY SPECIFIC MENTION IN MEDICAL BULLETINS.
Aegis Pact To Invest in Elenria
The Ministry of Development has announced that foreign civil assistance from the allied AP is to land in coming days at Aundui Bay with a full fleet. Their mission is reported to be the modern development of Touli colonies, which includes Elenria, Kumosenkan Hawaii, Middōei, and Colonial Ulster-Gaelia. Civil experts will be educating and assisting Elenrian workers on modern infrastructure work and projects, which will allow for the expansion of the exisitng telegraph network, rail lines, roads, industry, and public services, to simply name a few. Her Majesty will be in attendence to receive the fleet, as well as reinforcing Kumo naval forces that will join TAKPOE Territorials on the fight against the insurrection in the east. This is a continuation in the trend of Kumosenkan turning its attention back to Elenria following the conclusion of the Fifth Staol War and Franrre's admission to the supercontinetal alliance "C.O.G.", which as well known, resulted in the current shutdown of the border and dispatching of a quarter-million troops to aid Territorial efforts against the insurgents. This is accompanied by mid-Esrellia's arrival of Field Marshal Kanzaki Eruza to oversee weapon trials at Pactstei and Obsillia's visit by the honorable Minister of War herself to meet with Territorial Chief of Staff Vaiseln Api. All of this can by summarized to be understood that the Great Self-Debt doctrine is by all means a success- our loyal service to the honorable Empress is by all means paying for itself. All that must be done is to to continue our dedicated work for Kumosenkan. Most notable of all of this is that the Empress herself is bound for Elenria aboard the AP fleet: this of course would mark the first time that the royal family has made step upon Elenria's soil since its induction into Kumosenkan, and by all means indicates excellent tidings. Those of "E.N.C.O.R." should take this in mind that it is more than likely an excellent opportunity for Her Majesty to finally speak for our nation without influence of the Cabinet interfering in decision-making. The massive changes that Empress Reitō-kama has implemented are by all means incredibly welcome in these times, and so it is with high hopes that we may finally expect reason to celebrate this landfall of foreigners on our home soil.
Spring Monsoon AlertAlert to those living in the Mogahol Tropics and Northern Elenria Elder: the spring monsoon season has arrived. We can expect the usual downpours and floorings in the local low-elevation regions and severe winds. Fishing and other coastal activities are being suspended until further notice for your own safety. The Kumo patrol fleets arriving from the Home Islands will be requested to keep an eye out for anyone unlucky enough to be swept out, so be sure to make use of an emergency flare and raft if available- otherwise, follow season protocol and evacuate to higher elevation. Last year may have been merciful, but do not take such low tides for granted. Be safe and evacuate. The government will grant labor suspensions and pensions for the time lost, as well and relief and aid for property that may be damaged or lost.
Those who may somehow wind up in the sea anyway during the season- as mentioned, the Kumo patrol fleets are being requested to preform search and rescue operations in the region for the duration of the season. coastal lighthouses are as always, stocked and lit for your advisory. Keep emergency provisions on hand at all times and do not venture out dangerously- refer to Coastal Bulletin #4567LE-2 fpr further information. A fine of up to ¥600 is applicable, more charges to follow for endangerment if with company. Again, stay safe. The government will provide. Do not risk your lives- your honor does not depend on reckless expenditure like this.

Airport Reila To Be Completed This Month
Taking part in coordination with the Touli Development Board's efforts to modernize the Elenria, a small airport has since Achsen begun construction in the district of Reila in Aundui Bay. Consisting so far of an airstrip at 4000 meters long, two auxiliary offices to house airport staff and process passengers, and two hangar constructs, the construction started last month and is expected to conclude this month, with the finished docking bays for an airship and additional auxiliary buildings still under construction. The hope is to allow the usage of the airport to intake commercial air traffic and even, given time of course, allow for the domestic production of aircraft. This is of course in accompaniment with other projects undertaken by the TDB to uplift Elenria to modern standards, including new transport infrastructure throughout the East to prevent future famine and the development of agriculture with the introduction of automotive tractors and chemical pesticides.
The airport is an improvement upon the older Reila District military airstrip, which housed the Territorial Air Element, which until recently consisted little more of a few dugouts and a single hangar, in addition to a dirt runway. Located in a fairly open location at the outskirts of Aundui Bay, the runway has since been paved with proper asphalt and received installation of entrenched staol fuel containers for the resupply of aircraft. In addition to aforementioned structures already being built or done, a planned radar tower and radio system have been ordered from the Kiiroikuro Corporation in Kumosenkan, which will allow for modern communication with air traffic. All construction has been done under TDB supervision to ensure proper form, with full sanitation guidelines being enforced to protect all workers and civilians during the Venezjan Pandemic.
Airport Reila will stand to become another modern cornerstone in the due uplifting of Elenria by Kumosenkan and the Aegis Pact, which have been accompanied by stalwart support in material and military against insurgencies across the Elenria, construction and approval for modern armories, incredibly generous easing of taxes, and the food relief during the tragic famine in Stay. Further medical support is expected to arrive as the Aegis Pact has recently invited a TAKPOE delegation to join a meeting on the resolution of the current plague. The Airport itself is an addition to the various modern efforts expended upon the Elenria, such as refining operations and technical schools that have been opened even since the start of Kumo occupation.
Ashigawa Reveals Covert Assistance To Insurgent Forces - Empress Presents Apology
By official channels, Ashigawa's Empress Oda Yuzuru has presented a message of apology to our people, in apparent reveal of covert operations upon TAKPOE soil designed to hamper and maim our spirit and nation. The 25,000 dead from the Stay famine have been publicly admitted by Empress Yuzuru to be the work of none other than the secret police and internal bureau of Ashigawa, known as the Kempeitai, who provided material and auxiliary military support to Royalist insurgents, who were responsible for the attack on a military train carrying famine relief, with all of their contents destroyed and crew executed. Immediate action by nearby Territorial Army elements were unable to effectively assist, held down by newly- armed and trained Royalists who proceeded to assault and hold down Territorials until the operation against the train had been completed. An attached transcript of the speech has been attached here.
The first regard is that the Empress is hopefully at little blame for these criminal actions. She has taken good movement in resolution and apology, only haven recently taken power. But this in no way excuses the crimes of state preformed by her predecessor's government. Food, no matter how much, will not bring home the dead, who met their end slowly, agonizingly, at the hands of soul-whittling empty bellies. She may have forgiveness for herself, for her own actions- but not for her government. It would not be inappropriate to suggest nor demand that a trial is not enough- responsibility resides throughout every heart and organ of the superior Ashigawan government, from military to foreign policy. At the least, Queen Akel would do well to appeal for a naval blockade, but without a formal response from Kumosenkan and the AP, all that can be done is to wait.
It is well-known that the Royalists themselves are no more than fellow citizens of the Red Kingdoms, Kingdoms of the Pact, Citadels of the Scale, and Dukedoms of the Bromsoll and Mogahol, fellow Elenrians, tied down by honorable conviction. That they fight TAKPOE is only showing of their dedication- but this is deception, vicious mockery of all that honorable Elenria may ever stand for. No, this is no fault of the Royalists. They have been perverted by lies and propaganda of Ashigawa, their cause diverted and profaned into mindless, suicidal war. There is no point to such struggle, only radicalized hatred to what could be solved by time alone.
Word has yet to arrive from the Kesternrim Royal Citadel of the national response, but we can be hopeful that a coordinated meeting will be held soon to arrange a proper reaction.
