Agrarian Party
The Agrarian Party is the dominate party of Maiz and has been for many years. Their goal is to keep the government out of the affairs of the farmers and ensure upkeep of essential infrastructure to the farms.

Path Forward
The Path Forward Party is the most advanced of the parties, believing that Maiz should begin to develop and become a technological power like others on the main continent. They believe with rapid industrialization, they can achieve a higher status amongst the other nations, as well as be able to find a way to continue their food production with less land.

Labor Party
The Labor Party is a status quo party, wanting the government to help the industry and keep the infrastructure to it up to date. They do not seek to expand industry, but do seek better working conditions and fair representation of non-farmers. They tend to be prevalent in urbanized areas.

Liberal Front
The Liberal Front Party seeks to industrialize the nation, believing more industry will allow for a stronger economy of the state. They believe other states can pick up the slack in the food market and that Maiz has remained unindustrialized for long enough.

Socialist Party of Maiz
The Socialist Party of Maiz seeks to unite the farmers and factory workers of the state. Their biggest goal is to make the rural majority be on equal grounds of the urban minority and vice versa.
