Rombardan Granuras Central Command, located in a secured bunker complex out within the mountains West of Auran, was the largest army and air force command and control center. Buried beneath tons of stone and dirt and built with reinforced concrete and metal, the structure had only one accessible entrance, and a mirroring surface installation of which was spread out over the mountain and down into the valley of which lay below it. It was an obvious target but its defenses were characteristically heavy, and as well the presence of troops and material was equally great. It would be from here that the Rombardan military was commanded and that orders were relayed out to the Imperium's Granuras forces.
Orders relayed from Auran by General Cassius, had the Rombardan Granuras Command start to set new plans into motion within about a week. As new orders were relayed by Couriers and over Rombardan telegraph lines units started to reposition to the borders or near to the borders, setting themselves in on what bases were present in the region already, as plans were drafted and as well new ones were sent up from Auran to begin construction of additional military bases, with an announcement made to provide a half-truth cover to the actions. The armed forces also began to reposition warships and aircraft to ports to the north and to airbases near the border with the URRV. The majority of the forces were being sent to reinforce the Olan Region (plot 131), a state in the Imperium. Others moved to the other border regions (108, 100).

Esrellia - 1945.
Orders are relayed from Auran by General Cassius to commence with preparations to fortify the border, as well as to prepare for exercises to keep the military readiness of the forces in the area up to par. Additional forces to be pulled back from the islands in Arema for the time being, as Elenria Horizon is no major threat and Lusatia's Arema holdings are not currently militarily capable of posing a significant threat to the naval garrison in the region nor the air defenses and air power there. Pulling motorized forces from Arema and some non-motorized units back to Rombarda proper will help bolster defenses.

Foa, 1945.
Orders from CentCom:
Following the directive of the Emperor and his government, and the Koian Message, as well as rising hospital cases being tracked in several parts of Rombarda and as well intermittently abroad, the order to close the border is coming down today. This is a temporary measure but we lack the border patrol size necessary to affect it, so as it stands several Light Infantry Divisions are being activated for the time being to help secure the border. Travel is being temporarily restricted, and we will adhere to a 2-week travel suspension. As well units will be deploying with their medical units to set up field hospitals and provide additional assistance to law enforcement should it be necessary.
Units Deploying:
Task Force One (1st, 2nd and 3rd Standard Infantry Units[Metro Force], 13th Light Infantry, 7th Light Infantry [Rural Force]) - The Pallovan Metropolitan Region and Transit zone. Task Force Two (4th Standard Infantry, 5th Standard Infantry, 6th Special Operations) - The Prospero Metropolitan Region. Task Force Three (8th Heavy Infantry, 10 Heavy Infantry, 11th Standard, 12th Standard) - To the Auran Metropolitan Region. Task Force Four (20th Light Infantry, 21st Heavy Infantry, 43rd Light Infantry, 34th Standard Infantry, 20th Infantry [Deploying to link up with active units in region]) - To the Cascade Metropolitan Region, Rural Sector and URRV Southern Border. Task Force Five (501st Heavy Infantry, 301st Cavalry, 302nd Cavalry, 41st Motorized Light, 50th Motorized Light) - URRV Border Region, North. Task Force Six (26th Heavy Infantry, 27th Heavy Motorized Infantry, 78th Standard Motorized) - URRV, Fecrein Border Region. Task Force Seven (29th Motorized Standard, 26th Motorized Infantry, 27th Standard, 95th Standard, 201st Cavalry) Ashigawa, Fecrein Border Region.
Task Force Eight in Northern Arema (70th Light, 80th Light, 90th Standard) - Colossus and Island regions/trade zones, Paramon, Erusea, and Casphi. Task Force Nine In Southern/Eastern Rombardan Arema (87th Naval Infantry[Light], 95th Motorized Light, and 47th Motorized Heavy) - Kethona, Monos, Solus, and Talkarm and associated trade zones.
Additional units including specialist Medical Field Units are being mobilized and dispatched alongside deploying forces. This order is to be considered a General Mobilization Order for these units but all other units are otherwise to remain on their standby/peacetime footing unless called to action by CentCom or local command. Moving out will be done in conjunction with an announcement by the government of the temporary border shutdown. Supply and Logistical units are moving as well with emergency supplies to be on standby should it be needed.

Fessera, 1945.
Orders from CentCom:
Following the Directive of the Emperor and his government, and as well due to the appearance of what is said to be a bacterial infection of unknown origin and with severe health affects, the order to close the borders has been put into place since last week, at the end of Foa, 1945. The RSSB-Disease Study Division is deploying agents to study the Infection. The government has moved from Yellow to Red, bypassing orange, and enacted a lockdown.
Protests and instances of brief and isolated violence have been reported, but are contained and have not shown to be leading to further escalations. The spread of the disease seems, for now, to be somewhat contained, however, further measures are being enacted with the arrival of trade vessels from abroad following the treaties being put into effect internationally.
Ships regardless national origin, if they wish to dock, will dock in port and be forced into quarantine. No one will be granted sick-leave. Military personal displaying symptoms will be quarantined as well. All military units deployed for containment are to shift to a ready-stance and begin to establish hospitals alongside present medical infrastructure and provide whatever is neccessary to ensure safety, order and as well to aid first responders and medical technicians in their work.
The government has put into affect the War-Time Economic Conservation Act, and has forced companies to provide workers quarter-pay for the duration and enacted a criminal suspension on evictions under penalty of prison time and fines. All civilians are to be kept within their homes, and if need be, military rations will be given. Essential Workers (Electrical technicians, medical technicians, Important Logistics, etc.) are to be allowed outside their homes for work and work only.
Civilians may be allowed to shop for food so long as the number of people within stores is limited, and stores are to be disinfected often by their employees, among other measures for civilian businesses.
-------------
Forces along the URRV Border are to enact the 'Hunker-Down Order' and go to condition one, and remain on standby. No attacks are expected, but vigilance saves lives.

Achsen, 1945.
Orders from CentCom:
The situation has changed and the original strategy can no longer be useful. Our operating assumption now is that the war will be played defensive on the main front while we focus on infrastructure destruction and asset denial to URRV forces. Updates will be sent when available for review by command staff. New orders below. Border Forces are being reinforced with additional troops. Total force strength expected to exceed 1.3 Million, with 1.1 Million deployed on the line and 200,000+ deployed behind the line and organized into QRF forces to reinforce any area of the line that might be attacked. Forces are to immediately begin to dig in as heavily as possible into defensive positions along the First and Second Defensible lines as detailed in CentCom's provided maps. Units are being drawn back to the ports in the Northern Shawbalt, the Smithsver Gulf. The navy is settling in port before deployment.
The Air Force has moved its combat aircraft nearby to airfields and airports in the regions where the action will be. Naval refit underway. 25 of our 30 active capital ships are now in the gulf or Auran Fjords. There are over 400 warships in port in the regions as well. Preparations are nearing their final phase.

Achsen, 1945.
Orders from CentCom:
No Change to Current Readiness. New orders are as follows:
Create border defenses with the intention of creating as large an exclusion zone as possible along the entire URRV landborder. Forces should be redeployed and will be redeployed as well to map out areas to cover for defense planning along the Fecreini border, though no installations should be built there.
Forts will need to be built along the URRV border and further back. More lines of defense, booby-trapped trench networks and as well mine fields should be planned, planted and constructed. Travel advisories are now in effect in the affected region. Towns and villages in the area as well should be fortified if possible and defenses built in and around them to be occupied by our forces should the time come.

Vaylien, 1945.
CentCom Situation Report.
The Rombardan Military remains deployed to the URRV border and they're still doing fortification construction. The Rombardan Government is considering making a 'exclusion' zone and then moving people out of it in waves to new communities under-compensation should they voluntarily relocate. However this otherwise can only be a request - we are not able to force the movement of people from the region and maintain both order and national image, even if it would at the least reduce risk of harm to civilians should hostilities break out.
Because already extensive work building up the fortifications of the region has already been done, forces are being redeployed again in small numbers from areas along the border forces line to bolster medical and relief efforts inside of the nations cities. The disease seems mostly contained and for the most part, cases have remained at a steady level and no major influxes or decreases have occurred. Some small communities are experiencing declines as well. However, Ronograd and at least 3 other major cities including Colossus are seeing slight increases due to natural traffic passing through them.
As per prior orders units not ordered back will be moving to stand-by status and continue defense planning and construction, and as well will now engage in training. A pay bonus is being discussed given the recent work of the soldiers of Rombarda.

Bellien, 1945.
Orders from CentCom:
A gradual withdrawal is to begin from border posts under order of General Cassius. Over the next two weeks a gradual reduction of personnel to a standard border force size for the region will begin. 900,000 personnel will be redeployed elsewhere in the country to assist hospitals or to receive training, attend classes, assist in training new units and as well to help law enforcement where necessary. Some units will be redeployed to Arema to bolster the region's defenses or to return to their initial garrisons and rotation schedule, and as well to engage in Jungle training exercises.
The force left will be 150,000 (projected) strong, and be responsible for manning pre-build up border posts and as well for patrolling the border as per the duties of border forces in the region. Built-up concrete defenses are to be made inaccessible and weather-proofed if possible as to keep them viable for future use if they are needed for training or other situations. Trenches should be refilled or if that is not possible, left empty. Engineering teams will run basic maintenance where considered to be of high priority.
- Message End.
