 "After a session of the Imperial Senate, the Council has finished voting on Proposition 2033. Emperor Aurelius Vex put the motion forward today, calling for a complete and total ban on political movements calling for Communist or Socialist doctrines and policies. This ban would extend all the way to the level of local government, preventing communist officials from taking power and socialist ones as well, and actively ousting all current ones, what few there are, from office." 

 "This move is believed to come from rising tensions along the Rombardan, Veltist border, following the movement of troops and material to the region in preparation for a potential conflict on the border that may escalate into a Bloc Wide war between the URRV and the Commonwealth of Granuras. These as well are compounded by rising fears of Veltist insurgency and infiltration, of which the government has assured citizens that such 'Is not the case' and that there are no known Communist speis in Rombarda. Pockets of White Army Veltists of which were granted amnesty by Rombarda have expressed vocal support for the move, as has much of the Rombardan Republican governments and many Commune representatives."

"The Rombardan Government has agreed to trade deals with several nations, including Kumosenkan, and the UKUG, alleviating fears of a possible conflict with these nations to a degree, while talks are being held to further expand trade with other nations across the globe as well, aiming to extend the trade further with Nevarra, Maiz, Fecrein, and then nations to the south, including Amali."

"Finally, in an unofficial statement made by General Cassius, it seems that not all are okay with Ashigawan Imperialism in Granuras or further afield. This sentiment seems spread wide throughout the strata of government and as well within the civilian populace, with still many public condemnations being made by groups from these colonized nations and as well some government officials. The Senate has not issued an official stance on Ashigawan 'Colonization' to the South however."
