Culture
The Awharia culture is heavily nomadic in nature, several communities live in travelable yurts that move across the tundra. Though some centers of static civilization do exist such as the capital Orologo and the trade city Manassiam. Horses are extremely important to the Awharian humans who use them and are a social status among warriors. Awharia is split between the human natives and a race of sentient bears called Ursolan who are more stationary than their human counterparts preferring to stay in the towns and cities of the country.
Clothing
Awharian clothing for humans has changed very little in the last century or so, they wear thick fur deel or kaftan outfits suitable for the cold weather. Depending on the season some Awharian humans might wear clothes exposing their skin more as they are extremely used to the cool nature of their country during the spring and summer, but during the winter they can often be seen bundled up head to toe to hold in body temperature. The Ursolan have fur and don't need clothing but wear robes, capes and other outfits to show their social standing.
Food
Awharia food is heavy in meats, spices and dairy. Mutton, beef and fish being what is consumed the most by either race. Popular dishes like buuz which a variation of dumpling, khorkhog a meat stew, and boortsog which is a sweet biscuit are usually what Awharia eat. Ursolan eat almost an entirely meat-based diet of fish and beef provided either from cattle or yaks.
Music
If one thing has left Awharia in the last few years, it's the appreciation of their music. Throat singing is often done across the nation, Morin Khuur which is a type of violin played to harmonize with and various other stringed instruments make a deep connection to their culture.
Family
Family is extremely important to the Awharia no matter race, upholding honor and tradition of the horde taking precedent to the advancement of the Awharia state. Fathers and the men of the community are expected to provide for the women, children and elderly while the women run the community in their absence.
