While this section is called "Unprotected Telegrams", that does not mean they are ripe to be taken. You may send telegrams in non-Commons language, which those who do not speak the language won't know, as well as in encryptions.

Sending a standard telegram in Commons:
Select Courier New Font.
Type out your message. Poorer nations should use less words, and shorten words where possible (typically by omitting vowels and pronouns). U kno txt lingo? Do not use punctuation unless Exclamation or Question Mark, end a normal sentence with STOP. Richer nations can use more words / more characters, however they still shouldn't use punctuation. Morse code for STOP/period is .-.-.- and when it first came around, that was the only form of punctuation.
Make sure, somewhere in the post outside of the message, to mention which of the lines it will pass through if moving from Mainland to another continent or vice versa.
Sending a standard telegram in Local Language:

Type out your message in your language. Poorer nations should use less words, and shorten words where possible (typically by omitting vowels and pronouns). U kno txt lingo? Do not use punctuation unless Exclamation or Question Mark (if language uses one in front and one at end, only put one at the end), end a normal sentence with STOP. Richer nations can use more words / more characters, however they still shouldn't use punctuation. Sending an encrypted telegram in Commons or Local Language:
Select Courier New Font.
This becomes a two part process:
A]MESSAGE POST: Type out your message in commons or your language. Follow the rules above. This will be sent via Messages, not via a Forum Post. Along the top bar, you'll see a button labeled Messages next to Profile. You will send the unencrypted message to the Recipient and to EpicToaster1 [Or DM not involved in the knowledge of the message]. Hit send and both parties will receive the message.
B]FORUM POST: Type out your message in nonsense. You can make it actual words or just something if you slapped your keyboard. If you have an actual encryption you wish to use, you can use that too. Include in the post the targeted nation and the DM that received the message. Nations with intelligence centers can try to crack it, however that is dependent upon 1] the sending nation's encryption level and 2] the intercepting nation's decryption level. Nations desiring to crack it will post in the thread that they notice it, and will then send a message to corresponding DM that they're trying. If they are able to crack it, a copy of the translated part will be sent to their messages, however it will not be shared publicly if they cracked it or not. Players are then free to do whatever with the info they receive.
Make sure, somewhere in the post outside of the telegram message, to mention which of the lines it will pass through if moving from Mainland to another continent or vice versa.
