Kazumi joined in the drinking. "I believe you will find similar success in Amali. They are good friends and I believe they want nothing more than to see the world remain in peace. I wish you luck and should you need it we are happy to support your plea for a deal with them." Kazumi stood and quickly walked over to the door that led out of the meeting room and held it open for them. "And thank you for yours as well. Please, enjoy the rest of your visit in Kumosenkan."

----- Several weeks later, a telegram would arrive and reach Kumosenkan. Said Telegram would be sent by the RDO/Rombardan Diplomatic Office to the Kumo authorities, containing an offer to send a diplomat to Kumosenkan to discuss a potential arrangement for, for now, limited trade to be conducted between Rombarda and Kumosenkan. The Diplomat would be the same one sent last time.

A telegram was sent in response affirming the desire to expand trade relations with Rombarda and welcoming the return of the original diplomat. The telegram also informed of the continued construction of the Rombardan embassy. It stated the Embassy would be completed by the end of the week, and should Rombarda desire to send a permanent diplomat team to Fuyonouso early their stay would be covered by the Kumosenkan government until the finalization of the embassy.

And so, he would be dispatched again from Arema. This time he would be sent by air and a notice beforehand is sent so that they're aware. The aircraft would be a civilian model quad turbine cargo transport, and the diplomatic staff for the embassy and their supports were going to be aboard, only about thirty or so people with the contingent of Rombardan Marines to guard them scheduled to come in a week's time once the Embassy was actually open.
Avis would eventually arrive at the airport, leaving the aircraft with the rest of the staff and leading them, though he had little to no idea where he was supposed to go and was mostly following the guide into the airport.

The guide led him to a car that was waiting to pick him up. The car took him to the Capitol building and a female Kumo greeted him with a bow. "I am Kaede Yamazaki, the diplomat assigned to all future dealings with Rombarda. It's wonderful to meet you Vorlun Avis. I hope your travel was not too harsh. Welcome back to Kumosenkan. Please follow me to the meeting room." She led him deeper into the building, bypassing security, and eventually into a relatively small meeting room. Yamazaki sat on the floor on the opposite end of the table. "I understand we're to talk opening up trade together yes? What do you have in mind?"

The Rombardan diplomat would get into the car and settle into the seat, watching out the window as they were driven through the city, hiding the patch on his shoulder subtly as he did for the time being, keeping it out of sight with his shoulder cape. He'd step out when they arrived, and then give them a respectful bow in return.
"Just Avis is fine." He'd say as he followed. "The flight was fine. It wasn't as unpleasant as being stuck on a boat."
He'd follow behind them, until they entered the room. They'd wait for them to sit, and then take a seat at their end of the table, eyes looking around the interior of the room before settling on them as they spoke.
"Yes, my government wants to see about opening trade. Given the current happenings it may be a bit before they begin active trading, but they are for now open to and looking for some trade. Food stuffs, perhaps some rare earth minerals and things of that nature."

"It seems we're opposites then." She laughed a small bit. "Last time I got on a plane I hurled five minutes in." She let her laughing trail off and pulled out a few documents. "I'm sure as you know Kumosenkan is always open to food trade offers. We have plenty of refined materials open for trade as well as consumer goods and rare earth metals. We are more than happy to trade you anything you might need to further tighten the ties between our two nations." Yamazaki offered the Rombardan a genuine smile while waiting for his response.

"Never been much of a ocean person." They'd say. "Born in the mountains." He would cup his hands together, settling into his seat slowly. "..We can offer foodstuffs primarily at the moment, though we can consider opening up to sell some of our electronic components as well. In exchange, we would potentially want both consumer goods and similarly, food items from Kumosenkan that can't be found or farmed anywhere else."

"Fair enough," The diplomat laughed again, "Kumosenkan's primary foodstuff exports are spices such as curry, garam masala, and Shichimi. We also have some incredible raw fish and meats that aren't found anywhere else. For consumer goods, we have a plethora of the finest silk on the planet, very finely made dresses and other clothes, and plenty of other things that might pique your interest. Anything you are willing to sell Kumosenkan in either of those two departments we are ready to purchase."

"We manufacture a lot of prepared electronic components for internal use and as well as international sale, primarily we sell radio equipment, as well as a durable cable system that we use to link telegraph lines in Rombarda. As for foodstuffs, we can offer anything ranging from exotic fish found in the Northern seas and Arema, and as well large amounts of vegetables and fruits such as Violets, Artichokes, Burnberries and so on." They'd say. "Spices as well."
He'd adjust himself a bit in his seat. "We'd happily purchase fish and meat products from Kumosenkan, as well as the spices. We haven't had a lot of spice trade in our history and while we do receive plenty both from home and abroad more is always better. In terms of consumer goods, we would happily purchase silk from Kumosenkan, and as well in return export things like hand-tools, farming implements and equipment like tractors, and our own clothing."

"It sounds like we have a deal then." She smiled and pulled out Kumosenkan trade forms. She began writing on them, putting into writing everything the Rombardan ambassador said they'd purchase. "Here we are. Fill out what you're willing to sell to us and in what amount. Then fill out how much you are willing to purchase from us. Once we're done here shipments will begin immediately, and you can expect delivery within the next fourteen days."

He'd nod his head politely, and then begin to fill the forms out, filling in with what he felt would be a sensible and acceptable amount, at least as a starter he figured. They could expand as needed to fit demand, to a point anyway. He pondered giving 400 million people artichokes and wondered if it were even possible to industrially produce that many with twice the landmass of Rombarda. When he was finished, he set it back down and turned it to present it to her.
"Is this acceptable?"

Yamazaki looked over the papers triple checking the numbers the ambassador had provided and making sure that it was a fair deal for both Kumosenkan and Rombarda. She had been informed of the importance of a trade deal with Rombarda but wasn't told the exact reasons why. "This looks perfect. A great start to a hopefully long future of Kumo and Rombardan trade."

"Hopefully it will be, yes." He would reply. "If all goes well, then we may be called upon again to further expand its scope." He'd smile to them, the smile having to be pried to the surface and small, but a change to his general demeanor at this time, an indicator he was getting at least somewhat more comfortable around them probably. "A handshake to seal the deal?" He'd ask them as he held his hand out to them.

A handshake was far from Kumosenkan normality, but Yamazaki was happy to oblige the Rombardan. She grasped his hand and gave it a few shakes. When she pulled her hand back she stood and bowed. "I will be looking forward to that day my new friend. Trade together will do nothing more than assure prosperity for Kumosenkan and Rombarda"
