Points
Points are baselined at 250 Points for PC nations. NPC Nations can potentially start lower.
Points can be lost from fighting (units), losing ground (factories and resources), or being unable to provide for them (lack of fuel) [this doesn't cause total point-loss, just point unusability]. Points are gained from economicly building, helping staff, events, and otherwise.
Passage of Time
Time will pass at a rate of 1 RP Month per 1 IRL Week.
Because of the progression of technology during this time period, the world develops quicker and as such needs to be focused on a smaller timescale than some of what we're all used to.
Post Content
Like all other roleplays, please keep too lewd / explicit content from being posted. I don't mind you saying controversial things, like say there is a hostage situation and you mention someone is raped during it, but do not go into the details of it. You can mention that there are being mass executions, but don't go into the details of every death. But obviously, keep it reasonable. If it must absolutely be posted, please speak to the GM team first for approval before you just post it.
Roleplaying within the Boundaries of another Nation
One of the Golden Rules is do not roleplay as someone else's nation, people, or otherwise within their borders without their prior approval.
Research
Within the near future, a comprehensive list of researchable topics will be posted. These research topics (are not essays we expect you to write) are things research complexes within your nation can research. But, at the same time, you must have the correct tools to do so. Obviously space exploration requires chemicals and a space center, while atomic research uranium and an atomic research complex. Research is on a nation-by-nation-basis. Just because one nation has it doesn't mean everyone else gets it. Others can only get it if the main decides to share, or if you steal the technology (if possible). Stealing requires prior approval of Staff, and doing it without their approval will give you no desirable benefits.
Nuclear Warheads
Nuclear Warheads are allowed (you'll notice them in the point sheet). However, they are not allowed to be a first strike weapon. They are a weapon of last resort only. Usage at any other time will result in forced government coup due to civilian fears of retaliation. Doesn't matter if you're the only one with nukes at the time, it will happen. So ensure you really need to use those nukes before sending them to your enemy.
[I'm tired as I typed this, so I may have forgotten stuff or doubled up on others. Beats me, I'll figure it out later.]
