President

The Honorable President Charles Oliver James Marshall Sr.

Elected President 1902 upon the retirement of the previous President, Charles has served in his capacity as Chief Executive for the past 28 years. Born in 1862 in Ala, Tuscla to a Gentlemanly family, Charles graduated from Violet University and Cradock Law School, practicing law in the city of Portport. After working in private practice for several years, he was elected Governor of Carogan in 1884. In 1892 he was appointed as Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the Federal Union. After serving on the Court for 10 years, he was asked to run as the Progressive Candidate for President after the retirement of the former Federalist President. The last 28 years have seen him champion progressive ideas and have brought about an economic boom in Galra. Even though his policies have brought about peace and stability, however due to his advanced age he has been forced to accept a young Vice-President. With the current saber rattling from Seleucidenia there have been calls for him to retire so that the next generation can lead.

Vice-President

The Honorable Vice-President Lady Scarlett Marilynn Charlotte Cradock

Appointed Vice-President in 1928, Lady Scarlett has served in her capacity as Presiding Officer of the Federal Senate for the last 2 years. Born in 1894 in Jorvik, Peninsulvania she was orphaned at an early age. In 1904 she was adopted by the Cradock family and given a family name. Scarlett graduated from a local community university. After graduation she moved to Wellington and was able to run for political office, becoming a Senator. Her popular support was immense and she soon was unofficially the leader of the Federalists. The 5 years as party head led to the Grand Coalition period of Galran politics with the Federalists and Progressives working together to pass bills and unite the government. This meant in 1928 with President Marshall aging she was selected to become Vice-President with a comfortable majority. She is widely expected to succeed President Marshall when he retires and has been calling for an increase in military spending to counter the growing threat on the border with Seleucidenia.
