World Report Vaylien 1945
Collapse of Order The Crowned Republic of Nevarra Riots have broken out in Zadrid. Government response to the plague has been nonexistent and the people have taken matters into their own hands. For the last few days there has been groups of people attempting to get the attention of the government to no avail. Hospitals throughout the nation have been completely overwhelmed with all rooms overflowing. Several hospitals have begun treating patients in the hallways and even the surrounding area of the hospitals. Several hospitals have even had to begin treating their own staff as the supplies of Personal Protective Equipment have been completely exhausted. In Pejo we have word that some of the hospitals there are being completely run by volunteers before they succumb to the disease as well. Disease experts around the nation are attempting to convince the people to stay indoors and away from large groups of people. However at least here in Zadrid the people are tired of being ignored. Several of the crowd said that they hoped that by taking to the streets something would finally be done about the pandemic that had taken the lives of many of their loved ones.
The Army Brings Death The Kithium League The Army has been stomping through the League for the last few months and so far every town they have marched into has fallen into disease. It is not known why this is the case but as the Army moves around the League the plague that is crippling the nation has followed it. Local hospitals are calling for aid as their own meager supplies have been exhausted.
The King is Ill Imperium Kovus The Pandemic sweeping through the nation has taken many victims, however it has now put in danger the most powerful man in Kovus. The King has been confirmed to have caught the dreaded plague. The Royal Doctors are doing their best to save him but even now the Crown Prince has been spirited away to an unknown location to be quarantined in order to prevent him from catching the plague. All nonessential work is to stay officially closed, and a curfew is to be enforced until we have recovered from the disease.
Stay Safe, Stay Home North Siceli All citizens are to remain at home. Only leave your house when necessary. Hospitals are reaching their limit and doctors cannot promise that we will maintain this balance for much longer. So long as all orders from the government are obeyed it should all work out. Stay safe Siceli, and stay home.
Plague Cancels Elections Caragel The national elections have been cancelled due to the overwhelming amount of cases from the disease sweeping the nation. It has been decided that the election will be postponed until a cure is found. While there were minor protests in response to this it appears most people agree with the government. Hospitals have been on high alert for a while and the PPE industry has been hard at work to prevent the cases from getting worse.
Parliament Closed Due to Infections Scoiburg The Scoiburg National Parliament has been suspended after 10 lawmakers caught the disease yesterday. After agreeing to officially suspend operations the first death of a parliamentarian was confirmed as 76 year old Scott Kin succumbed to the disease. He was the third member of parliament to catch the disease and is the first to die from it.
