The Governor would be met by a small military convoy who would transport him from the station to the Governor's Mansion of Scoiburg.
There, he would be met by two well-dressed individuals. The shorter of the two would speak first, his accent a thick Caledonian. "Welcome to Scoiburg, Governor O'Hanney. I'm Iau Kindrick, Governor of Scoiburg."
The taller would speak, his accent a weak mix of Caledonian and Native Lecran. "I'm Gruffin Mordecai, President-Elect of Lecrua."
Iau would speak. "We're sure you're wondering why you're here, so we're just gonna cut to the chase. Since our independence during the war, neither of our countries are fairing well. We seek help."

Governor O’Hanney showed a light surprise to the statement, their had been vague claims that the commonwealth states that seceded were struggling but this was bad if it had to be made this clear.
“Heavens above, tell me, what has happened? And what does the United Kingdom need to do?”

Governor Kindrick would sigh. "Not sure how much you saw on your way here, but the plague is affecting us severely. We're out of capacity in all our hospitals. Even our field medics can't keep up with it. We have tried giving some of our sick over to Gruffin, but even they're starting to get a bit full."
President Mordecai would nod in agreement. "And we had an accident trying to expand our mining capabilities. We've got several pissed off civilians and they're not heeding the health department's warnings. We've got cases skyrocketing and we're afraid we'll soon be like Iau."
They'd both say in unison, "We're desperate."

The Governor would make a quick telegram to Edinburgh detailing the events of his meeting with the heads of Lecura and Scoiburg, Prime Minister Moriarty made it a priority to be there within the next few weeks and meet with them ASAP. When Moriarty arrived he tried to hide his exhaustion from the trip and made it clear he was going to make his meeting his top priority. After being caught up, Moriarty would tell them "We can offer aid in whatever ability we have, I can have four of her majesty's air craft carriers set up emergency hospital zones for the infected and begin authorize an emergency loan. Now that being said, your nations sought independence and I believe his majesty, our Queen's father King Rufus McDonald warned of this kind of thing. What is the UKUG to expect from Lecura and Scoiburg after this aid should arrive?"
