Head of state: Hetman (Queen) Yuzura Skoropads'ka
Just 21 years old, Yuzura has ascended to the throne in Spring of 1932. A polar opposite of her father, she is breaking away from what she views as outdated traditions, hoping to make the Hetmanate an equal of powerful nations of the Old World.

RADA
The Rada is purely an advisory body, and the closest thing Ashinara currently has to a Parliament of sorts. Hetman Gavrylo, on the 3rd year of his rule, has realized one large flaw with the Autocratic system - no man, no matter how smart he is, can handle the direction of a nation entirely by himself. In the past, this was dealt with political advice given to the Hetmans by the nobles through an inefficient process of social gatherings in the palace, over a feast, a ball, or simply through the intrigue thrown about by the often entirely self-interested nobles. To get a better grip on the process, and ensure the nobles, who held positions of power as Ministers and Governors of Provinces - even though said positions were already handed out by the Hetman personally - Hetman Gavrylo created the Rada, where every time a descision of national scale came up, all the Ministers, and all the Governors would convene in a chamber where they would discuss ideas on how the situation should be handled. Most importantly - anything said by anyone (at least, of the things they wanted the Hetman to hear) must be said in front of everyone else present to hear. While not fully, such a system also helped to curb the corruption of the nobles who would try and sway the Hetman to make decisions that, really, didn't benefit anyone but said nobles.
