Through the power of Koian Engineering, railcars have been developed tirelessly to allow them to suffer through even the toughest of attacks. The cars themselves can even withstand up to the newly invented nuclear warhead, with only minor issues suffered. However, despite these advances, the shock of impact of anything that hits the train can still kill those inside. Parts sticking out of the train, such as artillery cannons and smaller machine guns, can suffer damage, rendering them useless until they're repaired. Direct nuclear attacks do cause substantial damage to the systems of the train though, forcing it to remain put for repairs for several days before it may return to its journey. The trains are powered by a blessed fuel given to the Koians from the Heavens, and thus they may only refuel their trains with this special fuel.

The nation used to be much more, one of many states inhabiting the Hague at the beginning of the Great War. Its territory has long since been destroyed, leaving the Koian people with only their engineering marvels of their iron horses. As the war raged on, special deposits of their blessed fuel were found, allowing their trains to be refueled. As the war raged on and the ground became turbulent, the trains became able to drive themselves, laying and picking up their tracks as they traveled, allowing for the Koian people to live indefinitely on their war trains, only having to capture land to act as refueling points.

Like all moths, however, they are susceptible to bright lights, causing them to stop even when nuclear detonations can be seen on the horizon.

2-10-0 Decapod #023 - The Rear Locomotive of the First Express, #023 is an Armored 2-10-0 Non-Articulated Locomotive.

Second Express

4-4-4-4 T1 #010 - The Lead Locomotive of the Second Express, #010 is an Armored 4-4-4-4 Duplex Locomotive.
0-6-0 Switcher #001 - The Oldest Locomotive in the Fleet, having served for nearly six hundred years, #001 is an unarmored 0-6-0 Non-Articulated Locomotive. It is the central power unit of the Second Express.
2-10-0 Decapod #026 - The Rear Locomotive of the Second Express, #026 is an Armored 2-10-0 Non-Articulated Locomotive.
