Government and Organization
Roskana is a Federal Representative Republic.
State Governments are similarly organized into Republics of various styles but with a representative model overall and governors as political executives, their own Diamids, and Judiciaries.

Government Branches

The Executive Arm: The Executive Arm of the Greater Republic of Roskana is headed by the President, whose Constitional Responsibilities as detailed in the Charter of Roskana include serving as the commander in chief of the Roskanan Armed Forces; negotiating treaties; appointing federal judges (including the members of the Supreme Court of Roskana), ambassadors and cabinet officials; and acting as the head of state. The Executive Arm is responsible for putting government laws and programs into effect, and it is made up of public service and government ministers, with every government ministry and agency - and every minister/department head within, being under the Executive Arm.

The Legislative Arm: The Legislative arm is made up of the Councilar and the Synod, known collectively as the Roskanan Diamid. The Diamid is the branch of the Roskanan government responsible for making all the nation's laws, the declaration of war, and it regulates interstate and foreign commerce. It as well controls taxes and spending policies. It thus as well appropriates the money necessary to operate the government. Within the Diamid there are committees and boards, with the Councilar operating the committees, and the Synod operating the Boards, to which together provide direct oversight over the Federal Government's Executive Ministries, ala the Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, ETC.

The Judicial Arm: The Judicial Arm is responsible for the curation of internal legality, as well as the defense of civil and political liberties as a check to the power of the other two branches. It actively interprets, based on established precedent and principles, if a piece of legislation (be it on a federal or at times a state or lower jurisdictional level) or executive edict is in compliance with the Bill of Rights, Charter of Roskana, and To Water The Tree. It as well operates several legal ministries and agencies responsible for the joint administration of law enforcement.

The National Flower of Roskana

 The Idilian Rose
A rose of which grows wild in Roskana and parts of the north, particularly in Eflusia and areas within Adrium. This flower is considered the national flower of Roskana, and its white petals are often showered on newly weds. It grows wild every season and spawns quickly, with its growing season lasting about eight months, only unable to bloom during the extreme cold. These roses are also mentioned in the Razina prophecy, left in the wake of the Razina when they disappear.

Auranian Frigid Lucreleopard
The Lucreleopard, or the Auranite Mountain Cat as many call it, is a predatory feline animal native to the Auranite mountains of which has a long and persistent history within Auranite and Roskanan mythology and history. These animals are believed to be the modern descendants of a even larger and more aggressive species of feline, and as well are the believed ancestor of the modern Lucremeow, a household domestic pet. These animals are nocturnal, and typically hunt with four others, working as a pack. This pack bond and as well a inter-group altruistic behavior uncommon in other animals has led to them to be made one of Roskana's national animals, and a national symbol of unity and aiding others, though in the military they're often used to depict special operations units.

Eflusian Great Golden Eagle
A massive eagle with a wingspan of almost twenty four feet. It's feathers are a golden hue, and as well the massive bird has golden talons and a yellow beak, of which have had it described in many ways as the 'richest bird in the kingdom' and 'greedy predator' by Eflusian Gryphons. Called one of the most beautiful birds in the North, the Elfusian eagle lives in the cold of northern Eflus, and its large size makes it recognizable, with the large golden crest it sports and red eyes being often represented as symbols of power and nobility in Eflusian and Areman culture.

Barraban Lucrewolf
 Lucrewolves. 
Pack hunters. Big, vicious.. but loyal, and attached to their packs, bond mates. Families. 
Lucrewolves in many ways have always resembled the perfect pets for the Tribalistic city states that made up the barbarian fiefs of the Barrabans in ancient times, and to this day it remains a prominent and constant symbol among Barraban families and clans. Much like the Iron spear is for the Auranites and Roskana at large a symbol of strength, the Lucrewolf, the canine beast of a animal, is a symbol of strength. Not of arms, but of the bond, and the power behind it. Almost 8 feet on their hind legs, resembling Canis lupus but with more darker colors being standard, usually weighing up to 93 to 154 kilograms. 

Karrashi Royal Ave
Ave's are a species spread across the breadth of the supercontinent. But a particular species of Ave's, Royal Ave's, are a known and common subspecies of the Meadow/Northern Ave, of which has a red coloration to tis feathers. Throughout the history of the Karrashi, Ave ownership was a symbol of wealth, and particularly wealthy families, and the various queens of the Karrashi queendoms, particularly the Karshkan Queendom, would own the majority. Their red colors were often the inspiration for ancient heraldry and the symbols of knights and wealthy nobles throughout the history of the Karrashi Queendoms, and later, Karrashi soldiers and knights fighting for the Auranite confederacy, and Roskana. 

The Alden Red Sun-Bird
 In the land of ald, where the great cities resided in the mountains and the smaller settlements in the valleys, a single common species of bird often fell from the highest peaks to prey on a prey of rats and small predators across the snowy valleys and wheat fields of Ald, active the most in the morning. When the red sun would rise, a black and golden hue to its feathers was made easy to see, before its white beak and body swooped down like a bullet, this powerful bird of prey striking at its prey and impaling them on its feathers. Believed by the Festria to herald a day of harvest and gain, when these birds catch their prey, so to did hunters. But if they did not rise, they often went hungry. These birds have a deep cultural significant to the Festria and Ald as well for their ancient mythological role, some of which still believe to be true today.

New Republic Party of Roskana

Leaning: Roskanan Left-Wing (Republican Left)
The old party of Roskana, in power since the overthrow. Founded by Amelia Karshkan, the New Republic Party was established with the ostensible purpose of safeguarding the freedom of all sapiens within Roskana and its territories, and as well if you follow more aggressive philosophies often tied to it, the world. The New Republic Party allowed Marrlan and Maiz to split from Roskana, wrote the current constitution, and as well promoted and made a number of legal expansions to civil liberty. It's support is vast, and notably the NRP is open to the formation of coalitions with other parties, especially in the pursuit of the interests of Roskana, though it has a notable problem with Corruption.

Leanig: Roskanan Right-Wing (Roskanan Ultranationalism - Militant/Republican)
The Roskanan Ultranationalists have a more fleshed out platform than most parties previously have, and their active efforts at campaigning across Roskana have yielded a substantial core of voters. While much of that is older and often consists of various flavors of Tsarist, they've as well attracted vast numbers of the more republican focused. They've even stolen substantial amounts of the economically and business motivated from ER and several other parties. The Ultranationalists effectively advocate a far more aggressive foreign policy, the expansion of the economy, and the expansion of the executive office. Many policies of the Ultranationalists are often described as borderline authoritarian, while others are often considered to be quite libertarian, but many as well are aware that a number of these ideas are as old as even the Tsardom.

Roskanan Right (Liberal Republicanism)
A generally more economically liberal coalition party, made of several other smaller parties and coalitions from the more economically impacted regions of Roskana that have seen substantial economic hardship in the past few decades. Their platforms are primarily economic in nature and express an interest in attempting to establish economic domination over foreign states through the use of Roskana's industry, though many regard the ER as being generally not the right pick for the current political climate.
