Ganbaatar Khan
Head chieftain of the Awharia council and definitive head of state to any foreigners who enter the horde lands. Ganbaatar rose to status of Head Chieftain and Khan of the Awharia when he defeated the Yaiji in the last war. Ganbaatar has maintained that the Awharia remain somewhat isolated from the world, showing his disdain for the industrialization that slowly pollutes his own people and threaten the old ways. He despises foreign influence within Awharia and maintains that the people should refrain from the vices of the new world.
Tur'chek the Red
The Ursolan high cheif of Awharia, Tur'chek has ruled over his people within the horde for over a century, cursed with the knowledge given to him by his father and grandfather of the old days when the Awharia horde ruled most of Touli. Unlike his human counterpart, Tur'chek understands modernization is the only way to survive the current world climate. He fears his own sons will seek to separate the Ursolan people from Awharia and split it in two.
Nergui of the Sky
Nergui was abandoned as a child and left to die in the open tundra, adopted by an elderly couple the boy grew up angry and full of rage. He joined the horde military at a young age before setting off into the Yaiji-Awharia war 1921-1924 and rose to prominence within the horde ranks, he was still viewed poorly as a bastard orphan by some but in the last few years he has erased doubts and become one of the most powerful chieftains in the horde. He believes modernization is key to save the Awharia but won't oppose his best friend Ganbaatar.
