For little over a century, trade between Roskana and the United Kingdom had steadily increased via the open market. Sailors tended to be cordial and friendly in the open seas and unofficially the UKUG and the Republic held a good level of respect to one another.
With the fishing industry dominated by Roskana, Marrlan and Ulster Gaelia it was clear a trade pact that kept their hold on the industry simply made sense. Representative Richard Green of the Ministry of trade would request to meet with representatives of both Roskana and Marrlan to meet in Roskana for a meeting to expand trade and set up a fishing Union to protect their markets and from over fishing areas.

Marrlan sailors have always had a friendly demeanor toward fellow sailors of all nations commonly hosting open fishing competitions. And therefore would accept the request cordially and promptly sent a diplomat to attend the discussion.

Roskana would respond positively to the idea, and after a couple of days of deliberation they would elect to have a respresentative attend a meeting, for it to be hosted in the capital city of Roskana, Auran - where the ports were the largest and most accessible.
They would send a time and date of the meeting to Gaelia and Marrlan, and once it was agreed on they'd then make preparations for the meeting in the City's capital building, near the Ziggurat in the center of Auran. When the day of the meeting came on, the Roskanan representative would arrive and stand outside the capital building, beneath his own flag while members of a honor guard would stand holding flags belonging to the other two nations.

Green and his team travelled via rail through Lusatia to Roskana. When the Gaelians arrived in the Roskana capital it would be their first time this far East as many of the trade ministry's staff remained in Ulster-Gaelia or if they were lucky got to mingle in Lusatia during large trade agreement expansions with the Lusatians. Green would stand by the Green and white flag of the UKUG and await the other representatives.

Dai Kovack head of the ACE and Lei Korsky the head of Foriegn Affairs would arrive by plane, after arriving at the capital they would stand beneath the Red Black and Yellow. They brought a gifts to both nations in the form of Cream of Crab soup and Tuna fish sandwiches. They would greet the other diplomats as well, the Roskanan's with familiarity and a more casual tone indicative of their nations close relations, and the UKUG with a more formal but friendly tone.

When they entered the city they'd be able to see the planned urban landscape stretching for miles in almost all directions, even the islands hosting their own districts in the greater city of Auran and their own vast ports. The Roskanan city was truly a feat, perhaps it was even the largest city in Granuras in terms of land area.
The Roskanan Diplomat, a Festria standing almost eight feet tall would smile down at them, adjusting his glasses a little and exchanging a greeting and a little polite banter with them, the honor guard though remained stoic and stony, staring off into space with icy cold gazes hiden partially under the caps they wore. The representative would accept the gift, and then turn as he heard a pang of thunder in the distance.
"It's soon to rain, the sky is darkening and I'm sure no one feels like talking while the sky is pouring on us." He'd say, smiling at both the other ambassadors as he stepped back and would turn, gesturing for them to follow him into the building. The honor guard followed each group on the way in, holding their flags behind them as they went. They lowered them though as they went into the lobby itself, otherwise the poles would hit the doorframe, and then they would collapse the shafts of the poles and respectfully fold the flags, carrying them into the meeting room to lay the neatly folded triangles on their seats, and then they left.
"Take a seat." *They'd gesture.* "We can talk and eat, if you feel so inclined."

Dai and Lei would nod and take their seats. Dai would smile and say, "Gladly." and produced his own cream of crab soup and began eating. Lei would also pull out a few Crab cakes.

The Roskanan representative would settle himself down into his seat and relax into the fabric, though he'd not start eating yet, either not hungry or just waiting for everyone to get comfortable before he would begin. Once they were, he'd look to the Gaelic representative, and rest his hands on the armrests of his seat. "So, the agenda from what I recall, is first the establishment of greater trade ties between the Republics, and the UK. Then after that, the establishment of a Fishing Union." He'd look at the papers laid out before him on his end of the table.
"First, let's talk trade."

Green would nod politely before starting, "The United Kingdom has had trade with Roskana and Marrlan for some time, as the concept of an international market continues to grow, we would like to increase the flow of trade between our nations. We think it's very possible for us to allow lowered tariffs to encourage said trade and see a rise in revenue for all involved parties. As far as what we bring, the United Kingdom has an extensive manufacturing base as well as electronic components that are state of the art."

Lei would clasp her hands together and say, "That sounds like a great idea, I can get the necessary paperwork done once we return to Marrlan. Aside from marine exports, we also have a large manufacturing infrastructure for arms and munitions."

"Roskana economically is heavily dependant on imports of raw material, as our industry is very heavily developed - particularly our arms manufacturing sectors and our medicine. We would be interested in purchasing electronics and raw material in exchange for the sale of weapons, foodstuffs, and machinery. We do also have a lot of gold and silver to sell."

Green stroked his beard as he listened to the Roskana and Marrlan representatives, it had mixes of red, blonde and brown like many in Gaelia. When they finished, he would reply, "the colonies could supply the raw materials needed, I don't know what other needs your nations require but we also have chemical, medical markets. Weapons we can purchase as we're expanding our armed forces in the event certain political tensions don't ease so that is something we're willing to look into."

"We have a plethora of arms manufacturers of whom may very well be interested in establishing Gaelian branches or selling to Gaelia. With reduced tariffs, perhaps as well in exchange for the raw metals, plastics and wood necessary for the construction of those weapons, Roskana and Marrlan could supply Gaelia with whatever arms it might very well need."
"As well we could offer up our more exotic fish to that of the UK in exchange for their own more exotic delicacies, and expand that out further if we so wish, to general foodstuffs overall. I bet that a Roskanan Pasta Restraunt or Deli might be quite attractive in Gaelia, and vice versa."

"The main thing is munitions, ammo and the like. The colonies can provide the raw materials needed, in exchange we can fulfill orders of constructed materials in our factories for Roskana and Marrlan. As for the exchange of fish and food, that would be acceptable, we have some fish and chip establishments that would be eager to bring cod and chips to that part of the world as well as our breweries in Dublin wanting to ship their ale. Only other thing I can think of use of the merchant fleet in Ulster-Gaelia to ship these things in."

"Hmm.." The representative would look off at the wall, lost in thought. Then he'd look back at them. "This seems workable to me. What about you?" He'd look to the Marrlanian representatives. "Anything you'd like to propose?"
