Summarized history: In the years between 1917-1919 the Galran Army sought to gain an edge in the possibility of war with its neighbors and subjugate their territories. They began constructing aircraft initially for recon but realized that air strikes on ground units gave a huge advantage if implemented correctly, as the world began to adopt their own aerial units Galra focused on making their fighters armored and better equipped for firefights, bombers would have emphasis on providing air support to advancing infantry and new armored units in a tactic called combined arms. 
In the mid 20's Galra slowly pulled ahead of their neighbors in developing better technology for aircraft with the help of industrialist and entrepreneur Albert Hershing, Hershing made groundbreaking designs that made him the primary head of developing new aircraft. Hershing pioneered the closed canopy cockpit, dive bomber and the idea to implement small anti armor cannons to ground support craft to attack the new tanks entering development. His biggest accomplishment is helping design the Cutlass heavy fighter which is Ouhiri's premier monoplane fighter. The GAF is now a deadly arm of the Galra military that could support their ambitions later on.

Lancer GAF-28 Multirole fighter

Powered by a 12 cylinder staol fueled engine, the Lancer fulfills Galra's airforce needs in various roles as a perfect monoplane. It is equipped with four 50 cal machine guns and can carry in some variants a 22mm cannon for ground support, carry torpedoes and small bombs as well serve on carriers. The Lancer was one of the most expensive Galran military projects in the last decade costing the Imperial State billions of dollars to jump ahead with this kind of technology and fill their air force with these fighters. 

It has great speed, turning capability but the weight of the forward engine makes drastic climbing cause stallouts and its heavy fuel consumption makes it not ideal for long engagements. 

Trinity Carrier fighter

A light monowing fighter made for the new Galra carrier fleet, the open canopy Trinity fighter is light, fast and very difficult to dogfight against. Using four 30 to 50 cal machine guns and can be equipped with a single torpedo or a pair of diving bombs it poses a significant threat to Galra's rivals in the open seas. It's primary weakness is the lack of armor and the exposed pilot. The Galra strategy is to simply overrun the battlefield with these fast moving fighters to overwhelm the enemy.

Justice Medium Bomber

A massive hulking nightmare of a bomber, this flying fortress was designed to destroy cities and fortifications as well as fight off enemy fighters with its various turrets. It can lay waste to several targets with ease, its big flaw being the clear Staol vapors it leaves behind making it easy to spot. They usually have an escort of fighters.

 

Kermit 1 biplane 

The Galra light and heavy biplane fighter, used to bulk up aerial numbers. The Kermit 1 is used in various roles from scouting, carrier support, bombing to engaging enemy fighters. Though outdated compared to the more advanced aircraft being built, the Kermit 1 is still needed to supplement the Imperial State's air power. The Kermit 1 was made via a Grinvel-Galra cooperative project to make a cheap and highly effective fighter.

Hope biplane transport and bomber

The Hope aircraft is a multirole aircraft that can serve as a bomber and transport for Galra. It was created initially to overcome Lusatian defenses, and to deliver troops and supplies at a fast pace.
