Alton Antekumbo II
King of the Yaiji Empire for over sixty years, Antekumbo's reign has been one of enrichment and stability. He has overall ruled with an iron fist with one thought in his mind, the advancement of his people in a world dominated by colonial powers. However, following the bloody war with Awharia he has since softened his view of ruling the empire as a cold hard leader. Seeing the hundreds to thousands of young men he sent to die in a war many felt pointless changed his perspective and has driven him to reform the empire for the betterment of the people not the state. As he attempts to turn the totalitarian state into a reformed constitutional monarchy he nears his deathbed, unaware that in driving for reforms he has put the empire in a state of being torn apart unless his work is carried on by his son and heir.
Alton Antekumbo III
The son of Alton II and heir to the Yaiji Empire. Alton III thinks his father has become soft, he intends to maintain the monarchy and undo the reforms his father has implemented calling them the acts of a dying man. Alton III plans to raise taxes to create a more modern empire to compete with the nearby UKUG and increase raw resource mining to flood the empire with much needed revenue but at the cost of undoing labor reforms for the lower class.
