Summarized History: In 1867 several entrepreneurs wanting to escape with their wealth to a new nation purchased over 25 million pounds of land from the UKUG colony of Zedonia and established the Robretho Republic. Over the decades the republic was a free agricultural state, free elections and a unique level of liberalization made it stand out in the world at the time. But multi billionaire Thomas Grant arrived in 1909 and began to change everything, his influx of money bought out politicians and flushed the country with investiture and new technologies. He brought in associates from around the world of all races and creeds to invest in his 'new world' building Orion City at the center of the Republic to be the most advanced city money could buy. But Grant also pushed for the locals to be enslaved via contracts and debts placed onto them with the new taxes his bought out government pushed. Today Robretho is a tax haven to millionaires to retreat to and avoid the high taxes of their homelands, but underneath the glimmer of skyscrapers being put up are the people who originally found it as a means of freedom, being crushed.
