Grande Army of the Shah

The armed forces of Seleucidenia have served to protect the Shahdom for centuries and are considered to be one of the best fighting forces on the main continent of Ouhiri. In recent years the armies of the Shah have been equipped to fight an oncoming war with Galra using armament and training they believe will best suit them against their Southern neighbor. 


Uniforms

Seleucidenian soldiers are equipped with steel helmets, brown wool-based uniforms and are usually given winter gear due to the rough winters of the country. Some soldiers wear Papakha hats, Ushanka and other warm hats during the winter to prevent frost bite and being harmed from the brutal winter. 

Arsenal


RC-Tafang 7.56mm

Adopted in 1887, the Tafang rifle was created to be a durable winter warfare rifle with considerable accuracy. This heavily manufactured rifle is the most produced rifle in Reseria and can readily arm several battalions at a moment's notice.

RC-Mahajim 7.56mm

A newer lighter weapon adopted by the Shah's shock troops, the Mahajim boasts easier to pull bolt and smoother reload action. It has the same durable reliability as the Tafang, being pressed into service around 1928 its still a relatively newer weapon used by the better equipped soldiers of the Grand Army.

RC-LMG 7.62mm

A light machine gun made to lay down suppressive fire during infantry assaults.

RC-Atash 9mm

Created in 1921, the Atash handgun is used extensively by the Grand Army officer corps, police and some shock troopers as a side arm.

Armored units


Bilka Tankette

Armed with a rotating turret 50 caliber machine gun, this slow moving and mechanically questionable tankette serves as the only real armor of the Shah's army.

Call it stubbornness, call it stupidity, but the Shah's refusal to purchase Studebaker trucks for his military from the UKUG led to the creation of this Staol devouring abomination. The Ordure is loud, leaks water, creates excess Staol pollution and performs poorly in the mud. But dammit at least it was made in the Shahdom, which is what they wanted.

Seleucidinian Air Force

A branch of the Grande Army, Seleucidinia doesn't believe much in the value of aerial units and restricts their entire air force to a single domestic built aircraft. 


Attaquant 17

Commissioned in 1920, the Attaquant 17 has been the Shadom's sole aircraft in service since. Serving as a recon plane or light fighter it is equipped with one UKUG Vickers machine gun and on the top wing a fixed RC-LMG for the pilot to use as weapons. It uses an outdated domestic built engine by the Seleucidinian Army Corps of Engineers that leaves it underpowered compared to many if not all active aircraft in Ouhiri.
