Infantry
The backbone of the Royal Army, Gaelic infantrymen are expertly trained in range and melee warfare to defend the United Kingdom. Recruits are comprised of all ethnic groups of the UKUG across its colonial empire and allows immigrants to join the infantry corps to speed up citizenship. Gaelic infantries are split into the light divisions, standard royal divisions, heavy divisions and stormtroopers. Light infantryThe light infantry serves as the peacekeeping enforcers of the United Kingdom, they also reinforce combat lines and are able to defend dug in positions but struggle to seize objectives offensively. In greater numbers they can overtake enemy positions but their primary purpose is to supplement other infantry groups. They are akin to US National Guardsmen. They are equipped with the model 4 McCarron Arms rifle, steel helmets and basic uniforms. Officers use the McCarron Arms 78' revolver. Standard infantryMaking up the backbone of the Gaelic military, the standard infantry or just infantry corps are expertly trained professional soldiers who would lay down their lives to protect the United Kingdom. They are capable as any soldier in Ouhiri and follow a strict training regimen and doctrine to use tactics that reduce casualties over quickly seizing objectives. Gaelic infantry are allowed to wear their clan tartan and kilt which doubles as a piece of their equipment giving them a blanket and other uses. They are equipped with the option to use the basic uniforms or kilt uniform, steel MC1 helmet and various firearms aside from the standard issue Model 4 rifle. Infantry corps have members who lead charges playing bagpipes known as war pipers to encourage the men and place fear into the enemy. Heavy infantryGaelic heavy infantry are more or less used to smash enemy lines with increased firepower or hold down positions with extreme prejudice. Heavy infantry divisions are far better equipped that standard infantry but have the same training. The most recent use of heavy infantry was the Hawaiian War (1907-1910), where heavy infantry units held off Kumo island invasions for two years before evacuating. Their equipment is the same as standard infantry. Special infantry (Gaelic Stormtroopers)The best fighters in the Royal Army become stormtroopers, these shock troops are sent to do immense damage to the enemy using whatever tactics and weapons at hand. The entry process for the stormtroopers is extremely difficult and only the fiercest of the infantry become a member of their ranks, they wear battle armor, combat masks, and have access to whatever arms the UKUG possess to accomplish their mission. The most common thing they do is raid trenches and obliterate enemy within them. Elite Guards Dragoons (Black Cloaks)The peak of Gaelic infantry, Black Cloaks are deadly guards for the Royal Family and members of the Gaelic high government. Graduates of their training program are not permitted to tell anyone of their entry into the organization and are to protect their objectices 24/7 365. Black Cloaks use the Cricket 9mm handgun, Gaelic shotgun or a carbine version of the Model 4. They wear dress black uniforms at all times and have two to three blades hiding within for melee combat if someone gets up close.

Armory Below listed are the weapons of the Royal Army McCarron Model 4 The fourth model rifle made by McCarron arms this rifle since its inception into the Royal military in 1883 has served as major component of military operations. The rifle fires 10 rounds of 30-06/7.62mm that are fed via five round stripper clips, its bolt mechanism makes for a very smooth transition from round to round and its sights make the rifle very easy to aim with. It can be equipped with a foot long bayonet and a carbine version of the rifle gives the user a shorter weapon to work with. McCarron revolver 78'An absolute hand cannon used by officers, sailors and guards. This .45 ACP revolver is equipped with a 20-gauge shotgun barrel activated by the rear second trigger. The revolver while old in concept has proven to be a valuable weapon in the hands of the right user. Cricket 9mmCreated by gunmaker Johnny Lawerance, the cricket is a stripper clip top fed semi-automatic handgun. It has been slowly integrated into the officer's corps to eventually replace the revolver and was adopted by the Black Cloaks. ZI.6 'ZIX'This LMG by Ferris Combine was adopted by the Royal Army in 1920, it fires 30 7.62mm rounds fed by magazine at the top. Its lightweight and firepower give infantry units a valuable weapon to lay down suppression fire and take out groups of enemies at once.
Bata BorradhA unique shotgun made by Johnny Lawerance, this 12-gauge shotgun fires five rounds semiautomatically with ease slinging lead down range making it an important weapon for Gaelic marines, heavy infantry and stormtroopers. Ornamented grenadesThe name comes from their distinct look, the Ornamented grenade isn't the best in Ouhiri but its small size and balanced mass give it a rather distant range when thrown right. Vickers Machine gunMade by McCarron Arms and the Gaelic Royal Army engineer corps, this machine gun is a good bit of pride for the Royal Army. It fires 7.62mm rounds rapidly with ease and a single nest can obliterate battalions of infantry.

Armored divisions Rascal tankette
Created by the Army engineer corps, the Rascal is a slow but reliable tankette armed with a rotating 30. caliber machine gun turret. Only two crew members can fit into the tankette, and its fuel range is limited due to the lack of real fuel storage. Vole TanketteCreated by Ferris Combine, the Vole is a rather questionable if not tolerated tankette in the Armored corps. It uses a single 30. caliber machine located at the upper section and has a rather weak in house engine that stalls easily on hills and in mud. The Vole was approved to provide infantry support until a better model can properly replace it. Tarbh landship
A steel behemoth, the Tarbh landship is a solid armored vehicle that can enforce Gaelic army offensives using a collection of machine guns and openings that allow rifles to poke out and fire.

UKUG army structure is formulated in the following. Each Army has 2 corps. Each Corps has 5 divisions. Each division has 3 brigades. Each brigade has 4 battalions. Each battalion has 3 companies. Each company has 5 platoons. Each platoon has 4 squads. for sanity's sake, I am not doing the entire UKUG military just examples. The main islands have 8 armies. This includes divisions that are mobilized and non-mobilized, artillery, and have dedicated armored branches. UKUG engineers refer to any non-combat role such as driving trucks, cooks, camp attendants, builders, diggers etc. Platoon HQ are officers and comms. All of these are pulled from Standard, light and heavy infantry. Stormtroopers have dedicated battalions and are assigned in each army as shock troops. Following is an example of a UKUG Infantry battalion Specifically, the 34th Infantry Battalion in the 1st Royal Army of Alba Company A -4th Gaelic Infantry --445 Rifles --446 Rifles --447 Rifles --448 Engineer Corps --449 Platoon HQ -5th Gaelic Infantry --501 Rifles --502 Rifles --503 Rifles --504 Engineer Corps --505 Platoon HQ -6th Gaelic Infantry --664 Rifles --664 Rifles --665 Rifles --666 Engineer Corps --667 Platoon HQ Company B 7th Gaelic Infantry --774th Rifles --775th Rifles --776th Rifles --777 Engineer Corps --778 Platoon HQ 8th Gaelic Infantry --882 Rifles --883 Rifles --884 Rifles --885 Engineer Corps --886 Platoon HQ 9th Gaelic Infantry --902 Rifles --903 Rifles --904 Rifles --905 Engineer Corps --906 Platoon HQ Company C 10th Gaelic Infantry --1001 Rifles --1002 Rifles --1003 Rifles --1004 Engineer Corps --1005 Platoon HQ 11th Gaelic Infantry --1111 Rifles --1112 Rifles --1113 Rifles --1114 Engineer Corps --1115 Platoon HQ 12th Gaelic Infantry --1204 Rifles --1205 Rifles --1206 Rifles --1207 Engineer Corps --1208 Platoon HQ

Army rations In camp UKUG military camps are fully functional small cities in their own right, along with medical, communications, water services, restrooms and showers; they have extensive cooking crews to feed the camp. Depending on what is available some Army detachments might get lucky and get meals of Chicken, Duck and pork but standard protocol is to serve Hotpot. Hotpot is a Gaelic meal made to serve large quantities and was a peasant dish adopted by the UKUG military. It is a large stew made of vegetables and mainly potatoes and pork. Massive quantities are made fresh in camp to give troops a warm meal while deployed. Coffee, tea and milk are also served within camp, anti-alcohol regulations keep beer off base and in camp until the soldiers can reach leave and can get one nearby using appropriated coupons that local pubs and restaurants can cash in from the Royal Army. In field UKUG troops each carry meal pouches good for a couple days in active combat, supply runs from FOB can restock but with rationing a Gaelic soldier can stay in combat for a week on their individual ration pouches. Hard Cracker
A baked cracker made in mass as a snack and to feed troops quickly, the hard cracker is made to last for long periods of time and is packed into pouches very heavily. UKUG troops get alot of these crackers and often joke that they can break teeth or be used to deflect bullets. Pasturized cheese spreadA cheese made only for the army, this cheese can last for long periods of time and be spread on the crackers or put into other meals. Canned foodsRanging from pork, chicken, vegetables, beans anything really. Each ration pouch is given random 3 cans per pouch to serve as the main course of the meal. Canned Coffee
Ready to brew coffee placed in cans for preservation only made for UKUG troops, they can brew it in a provided kettle and drink from a single can for several days. Meaning entire fireteams have months worth of Coffee (if they drink it normally which isn't done)

War songs are a large player in the culture of the Gaelic military and culture overall, many of these songs aren't even war related or military but can be heard sung by sailors, soldiers and airmen of the royal military.
