Mysterious, New Slogan Spreading Like Wildfire Over the past several months, a slogan has been spreading throughout the region; at first slowly and gradually, but now like a wildfire amongst the people of the region: 'The Azure Sky is already dead; the Golden Sky must rise.'
While it is not yet certain where this slogan originated from or why, it is rumored to have been started by the three Zhang brothers, who have set up a clinic in Pozhal.
In other news, protests in the region have continued to grow in scope, size, and intensity, and occur with more frequency, ever since the Zhang brothers arrival in Pozhal and the slogan began spreading amongst the regions populace.

Breaking News - Riot in Pozhal A large-scale protest taking place in Pozhal quickly turned into violence and rioting after several police officers still stead-fastly loyal to the Union government opened fire on a group of protesters who defied the 10 PM curfew and refused to disperse when ordered to by the officers. One protester was killed and two others were injured.
Shortly after the incident, the protesters became increasingly outraged and hostile, and the vast majority of the Pozhal police force turned against the offending officers, refusing to deploy crowd-control measures or arrest any of the protesters. In fact, these brave officers have laid down their arms and joined the protest-turned-riot themselves.
The rioting has gone on for several hours now, and the press has received word that the Union has ordered the regional military headquartered at the Pozhal military base to use force to restore order. However, just moments ago, the Pozhal military base released its own statement expressing its solidarity with the protesters, and that they will take a neutral stance in this matter, as long as the military base itself or any of its occupants does not become threatened or harmed, and that no further violent deaths occur. As of this time, the rioters have stayed well away from the military base, and the regional military has stayed true to its statement.

Breaking News - Riot Continues; City Officials Flee Pozhal The riot in Pozhal continues to run it's course well into the mid-morning hours, after going on all throughout last evening. With no sign of the riot ending, all of Pozhal's - cravenly - appointed* city officials have fled Pozhal and are believed to be heading for the Union's capitol for safety.
After decades of oppressive media censorship under the heavy-handed rule of the Union, this media company can only too gladly say 'Good riddance to bad rubbish. Don't let the door hit your asses on the way out.'
*Unlike most of the civilized world, the authoritarian Union appoints local and regional government officials, rather than letting the populace hold any elections.

Rioting Spreads The large-scale protesting and rioting that begun in Pozhal several days ago has begun to spread to Pozhal's suburbs and several other towns in the south-eastern region of the UST. With local officials having already fled from the city of Pozhal, civil disorder has finally begun to die down, to a small extent.

Pozhal Regional Military Releases Statement(Public Media) The Pozhal military base has released another statement today, which follows: "While we have done our level best to stay strictly neutral in the on-going events, we cannot and will not stand idly by if tyranny and oppression should return to our region. Our position is this: we are willing to work alongside the citizenry of Pozhal to restore order in a peaceful, cooperative, and non-violent manner, without the interference of non-regional UST military troops.
Should such interference arrive, we will have no choice but to strongly reconsider our current position of neutrality. (Top Secret Communique) We are even willing and able to offer various form of military training - including officer/leadership, intelligence, special forces, logistics, support, disciple & protocol, and weapons training - in addition to offering some military advisors, and - upon request - military leadership, logistics, small arms & ammo, and intelligence support. There is even some possibility that we may be able to lend some direct military assistance should the need arise, as well - up to 15,000, potentially, including various field officers ranging from corporals to a few Lt. Colonels.
Should your situation really turn south, we may potentially also be able to provide access to our base for defensive and logistical purposes.

Violence in Pozhal Abates After a rousing, passionate, and heart-felt speech given by the charismatic physician Zhang Jue, rioting in Pozhal and its suburbs has come to an end. There remains some non-violent public protests, but such is to be expected with all the rampant pent-up emotions after decades of government corruption and oppression that the city and the region endured.
