The survivors fired in vain at the shields, cut down slowly til it was just the commander and a small squad falling back to a back room and blockading the door.
“This is it, was an honor to die with you.” Commander Sadim told his last men as they waited behind the wooden door on the last room of the temple.

The Kithium secured the rest of the room, before then they brought a few men up, and secured their shields in front of them. They would fire rounds through the door into the backroom, while some of the shots were aimed at hinges, other were just fired wildly into the room through the door.

They would find the men save the commander dead, he was leaning against the wall slumped to the ground his breathing labored, his vision darkening, as the kithium entered the room he would spit blood from his mouth and say, “for the Union”.

Stepping inside of the room, would be a single Festria man, wearing a black tunic with webbing, and a cape. He'd step over to them, and a moment later, grab the commanders head.
"When you get to hell, tell the rest of your men that we're going to burn your homeland to the ground."
Then he twisted, severing the man's spinal column from his brain.

There were no more UST soldiers left on the island at that moment. Union citizens were now at the mercy of the kithium league.

The League began to organize parties to start collecting people from the countryside.
In the cities, they began to take stock of what had been destroyed in the course of the conflict.
They began to bring in wagons and trucks of aid to the towns, distributing it down from the north to the rest of the island. They collected the UST citizens into a single city and kept it locked off from the rest of the island, initiating an occupation and reintegration program focused around first, figuring out what was left, what was lost, and then rebuilding it. Similarly, the Cult of Mars would take over many of those duties, especially so rebuilding the temple.
