A delayed outreach (UKUG-Kithium)

The success of expanding touli trade for the empire had enticed the United Kingdom to pursue further avenues of trade in the developing continent. Minister McCaig himself would attend a meeting with the Kithium nation offering trade and formal diplomacy.

The Kithium League would send a diplomat from Clan Manaan, as Manaan had more in the way of 'business accuemen' or so they said.
As well as a Gaalsian Observer and really more so "Commissar" was sent alongside them, to head with them to the meeting point in the north of the country, in a moderately sized, and for the region massive, town. It'd be at a small fort that the meetings would be held, on a clear and sunny day - uncharacteristically as well, warm-ish.

Minister McCaig would arrive via an assigned UKUG Corvette the HMS Striker, after the Corvette received permission to dock the Minister would make his way to the fort for the meeting.

When they arrived they were guided into the walls of the fortification and then to a area for their vehicle, and shown to their accomodations before being led to the meeting room. It was a simple log cabin, just bigger and longer, with a table in the middle and two attached rooms and a deliniated marking made with a different color of wood and two flags marking the differentiation between either side. One of the old flags in the back was the by now practically ancient flag of the Tsardom, but the two prominent flags that were displayed at either end of the league's side of the table would be their own. A drastic departure from conventional Roskanan styles, but still somehow - entirely Rosark-ish in nature in a sense.

The Kithium Ambassador would greet their counterpart and hold out their hand for them to shake, a soft smile on their muzzle as the feminine feline gave them their greeting while wearing a grey tunic.

McCaig would extend his hand out and return a warm smile, "Thank you for meeting me here, I'm Minister McCaig of the United Kingdom." He hoped the meeting would go well and continue the UKUG's growing ties into Eastern Touli, given the war in Central Touli now was the time to build up cross national relationships to prevent such a disaster.

"I am Ambassador Milan of Clan Manaan, of the League." She'd reply. "A pleasure to make your acquantance."
She'd sit down on the other side of the table once the introductions were finished.
"So, what would you like to discuss first?"

"I am here to offer the league a partnership, the United Kingdom wants to create a trade network in Eastern Touli which will assist in the development of the region and increase the flow of trade and wealth. We're currently building a railroad network in Mil'Nor which will help the country jump in development and increase the flow of their goods and our goods. We would like to expand this railway network project into the league, increase port trade and offer investment opportunities for some of our companies. In return the UKUG would like the league to become a proper partner and ally in keeping Eastern Touli stable and safe, i'm sure you've heard of the...situation in Central Touli."

[VoxApocrypha]

"We have, yes. In fact we are going to involve ourselves in that situation soon." She would reply, crossing her legs. "The League Army is using the opportunity to reclaim the island of Razu."

She'd smile and lean back a bit, lacing her fingers together in her lap.
"If I recall a similar arrangement was being discussed between Mil'Nor and the League as we speak, actually. Clan Gaalsian and Manaan together see this as a great opportunity to expand the prosperity of the League and its Eastern neighbors. So I would say you have a 'Yes' from the League. We just would like as well, port access to the UKUG's territory so that we can ship our goods out of it and have our established shipping companies establish branches in Zedonia. As well, an Embassy would be in order too I believe."

McCaig nodded, "I believe that is something we can arrange. Fuar is growing rapidly into a nice trade port for the South, I would recommend investing your shipping companies there while the iron is hot."

"I will bring that back to the League and I am sure that before too long, there's gonna be a few nice new branch offices opening there." She'd say. "As well, the Cult of Mars will likely wanna establish a enclave so that its people can work at the docks alongside those of the locals and Kithium volunteer workers."

[Greywall]

McCaig tilted his head, "Cult of Mars? I'm not familiar with them."

[VoxApocrypha]

"They're a international organization, but they are primarily prominent in the Kithium League, and Roskana - with branches in other parts of the world as well. Marrlan and Maiz being two other places. They're largely a scholarly institution but they have a hand in many industries. Their assistance helped modernize our armed forces after the battle of Razu."

"Interesting, they'll be granted their enclave then. I believe that tacks on all we wanted to achieve, is there anything else I can do for the league?"

[VoxApocrypha]

"Excellent then. I'll relay that. Now, I have something I was asked to inquire about - would the UKUG be perhaps willing to discuss the sale of firearms? Particularly - we want to have access to light infantry portable machine guns."

McCaig raised his eyebrow in curiosity, "We have light machine guns and would be open to selling our firearms. What all would you be interested in?"
