1931, Winter
City of Auran, Embassy of Lusatia
With the events in Kazimierzgrad, particularly the massacre, the Roskanan government had naturally been aware of the situation the moment that the news had spread farther than Lusatia itself. Radio and newspaper had been what had first passed through the perview of the Roskanan government, and 'observers' had given some accounts or relayed others accounts back to Roskana via letters and coded messages. Of course while the reaction of the government would be measured and not particularly wide reaching as to not dramatically upset a potential ally in countering the Sovereign Union, Roskana's people were much different.
'Socialist' sympathies were notably old and abundant among the working class of Roskana, and a event like in Kazimierzgrad was something that by its nature, infurated a working class of the scale of Roskana's.
It was not long before protests were erupting outside of the Lusatian embassy, and the Auran Metropolitian Police Department had formed a shield-wall in front of the Lusatian Embassy's gates, with several groups of police standing in lines or in small groups to maintain order. However they were avoiding arresting anyone who didn't actively agitate. Such was easy, given how often the radicals often got tossed out of crowds for trying to throw bricks at the police. There was at least less of them than what events of such a nature usually might draw.
With it came calls to condemn the violence, and the Roskanan Government caved rather fast - in part because they had already intended to.
The Roskanan Government sent the letter itself to the embassy, and then to Lusatia itself via telegraph, and as well Amelia gave a speech on Roskanan public radio condemning the actions of the old Lusatian government.
The letter itself was a strong condemnation of the actions taken and the loss of life, and then as well it had a call for the new government to not repeat the mistakes of the government this new one would be replacing.
Though the letter was also lighter than many wanted it to be, too.
In part this was because the Roskanan government would be aiming to attempt to establish stronger relations with this newer Lusatian government, with the aim of normalizing them and as well, potentially expanding the relationship in the future. For a time however the Roskanan government made no moves to further condemn, nor to open relations. They waited until the new government was more established, and picked a time when the protests abatted, to then finally inquire about potentially opening more formal relations.
