As Wilhlem awaited contact from Diego's forces to the south, he set about putting the few R&D personnel he had on hand to work designing concepts for new tanks and artillery pieces to be made once they had secured the factories, resources, and manpower needed to create them.
Although these scientists ranged from both the premiere and inexperienced among the Roskanan ranks, working out of the back of a 2.5 ton truck put a bit of a damper on the efficiency of said projects, and the lack of any useable prototypes outside of the three they had brought with them presented its own challenges for proper development of equipment. But, research needed to be completed as soon as possible so that they could begin fielding cutting edge tech quickly and efficiently.
