Returning home the remnants of the Roskanan Relief Force, now the Eastern Defense Army Group, settled in for what they assumed to be an inevitable factor. Fortification efforts were made upon their return. Trench lines, spider holes, improvised forts, traps, and minefields. Though the worst was assumed, the government still clung to the hope the betrayal was not as deep. Construction supplies, already limited, were not as easily diverted from Harbaville.
The surviving force:

165 Field Artillery,
200 Howitzers,

6 Heavy Tanks (TM-32H 'Cougar'),

They were reinforced by new recruits numbering in:

12,000 Marines,
1,000 Beast Hunters,
5,000 Mountaineers,
2,000 Motorized Infantry.
Though further reinforcements were diverted to Harbaville itself. They would have to work with local Militia's and what they already had beyond this.
