Higgins would sigh in relief, "Well...that's good to hear from you at the least, the port lease is if you want to avoid shipping fees from other countries but if that's not something that hinders the URRV then so be it. That just leaves the trade offer, if the URRV wants to conduct open or limited trade with the UKUG."

"And how would we avoiding shipping fees using your ports?" Napoleon would ask incredulously. "You are an island nation that we would have to ship to get to your ports in the first place. Nevertheless if you want trade, we would need to discuss what you are offering and what you are asking for."

"We have wood, you have electronic components. Even our best companies in that field have heard the URRV produces a large number of them and that they are of a good quality. We would like to arrange a deal for these components namely radar equipment for air traffic along our Eastern coast."

Napoleon would raise his eyebrow and write down a note to inform the industrial sector that there were some leaks to foreign companies. However he kept on a smile as he listened to the Gaelian. "I apologize but as of right now components that would be going to radar is restricted for national security reasons. We're open to trading them with allies, but as of right now we have to keep tight control over where they go. Not to say that I don't trust the UKUG, it's just I can't go against the policy set forth by the CPC. I could potentially bring it up in our next meeting, but the decision would have to be unanimous." His smile would get a little strained. "And that is something that is difficult to do even on the best of days."

Higgins now showed disappointment, "That's a shame, if i'm to be blunt, we need them because of Galra. They annexed the UAR and the country is concerned with the possibility of an aerial attack. But I understand, we can find what we need elsewhere. I do believe I have accomplished a great deal of nothing here, so I shall head back to the embassy unless there's something I can do for you Mr. Bonaparte."

"Now sir, I think you are being hasty here," Napoleon said shaking his head. "I never understood why so many people think war is imminent. For pity's sake we just got out of a major war, I doubt Galra who took the most causalities is looking to start a war." He shrugged slightly. "I mean would you want to start a war if 5 million of your own citizens died? I know we don't. I mean we're still recovering from the Revolution. But no I don't have much else. And honestly, you do realize that there are things to do besides sit in the embassy?" He smiled. "If you are tired travel the Velts and speak with people. There is not a soul who would harm you."
