"That is agreed. On a similar note, there are a good number of resource deposits and workable land along the route we have planned. With your governments permission, we would like to offer individual contracts to what companies may have interest in establishing operations within Mil'Nor. These facilities would be under lease for a duration agreed upon to allow for profit, before being bought back by the government for resale."
"I understand we paid in silver directly last time, but if there are other trade goods that you require, we might be able to supply." Kathrine's tone was pleasant if somewhat nonchalant, the woman taking a sip of her drink in an effort to warm up.

“Any raw ores or materials for our manufacturing industry would help, cutting overhead costs so we can stay ahead of Grinvel is always a pleasant thing for us. Though I must inquiry, if we can have access to gold?”
Scofield began writing down a form for GWR as they would need to assemble more locomotives for the growing rail network.

"We can offer an inital payment of gold from our reserves along with another, larger installment to be paid over the course of construction, if so desired." The woman finished her drink, casually watching the other begin the paperwork needed for the new agreement.

"Do we have an exact measurement on lines needing to be added?"

"We've done the math with those you've brought to aid us, and foresee two possible routes of payment. One along the trail route of northern Mil'Nor along our border between Zedonia and the Kihtium. This would build along the central trade needs of all the regions involved, increasing our own gains from investment. This second would cut between the great mountain range of Gruver to allow for more central movement through the nation. We would ask to first prioritize the northern one, but are willing to seek investments in both the rail and civilian investiture along both routes upon agreed terms here today. The north shall be a roughly fourteen thousand mile stretch from our own measurements, with a rough three times the need of investment for a rail in the south." She'd pause, taking a sip of her coffee again before resuming. "Beyond that, we are open to any other terms to be discussed at the current time"

"Those routes would be rather expensive to build, we're talking a large gold deposit. Somewhere around 146,916 units."

"We can see to full payment by the end of the spring season easily enough. The riches of the nation should be put to work to pave our future, after all. Was there anything to discuss, or shall we begin the paperwork?"

Scofield pulled out some paperwork to finalize the transaction. Some with the UKUG emblem and others that were to go directly to GWR. In a couple days, GWR would begin construction of the Northern railroad and then eventually the Southern.
"I think that has us all taken care of, is there anything else I can do for you today?"

Obsillia 2nd, 1932 New Raltera
"Send for the Gaelic Ambassador! ...No I don't care what he may think, we need him here now!" Kathrine shouted at one of her officers. News of the Xagreau buildup in the north had reached her. Turning to another aid as she stood up from her desk, her order's continued to run at a near breakneck pace "Assemble the officers to my office, and bring Scofield here once Tyrann's deployment has been noted." ~ The message was sent out to the UKUG embassy soon after

Scofield was confused as to what the issue could be, he did notice the increased presence of more Mil'Nor soldiers in New Raltera. Something was going on, he hastened himself to the location where he would meet Mengele.

Having been escorted to the Office of the Deacon, Scofield was greeted with the sight of Kathrine once more, with several officers of the newly founded Valderan Military High Command flanking the desk that the Deacon sat at. He'd be quickly shown to one of the seats by his escorts, the two guards quickly leaving the room as the doors were audibly locked. Kathrine rose a hand in greeting as the ambassador was shown in.
"Apologies for the lack of decorum or information about this meeting, Mr Scofield, but we'd like to keep news on this matter as quiet as possible right now. It would appear that Xagreau are moving around once more, with my officers reporting possible intent on striking the railroad your country has been commissioned to construct for us."

Scofield felt his stomach turn, the Xagreau had long been predicted to assault the Xaspeshi Federation, now they moved onto Mil’Nor.
“What’s the status of their advance?”

"They've not taken action yet, but scouts have brought word of mobilizations being sighted. The security detachment I sent for your people's safety made note of scouts reports, and thus we felt it would be best that you were informed. Our own mobilizations for war are being made, but we thought it prudent to offer temporary retracement of your workers until the crisis is handled." She said in return. The woman slid a report across her desk, the notes on it stating rough estimations of the Xagreau numbers being mobilized
"We plan to continue construction, regardless of their intentions. If the UKUG is willing however, we would like to discuss purchase of support in the form of material and armaments."
