The embassy would acknowledge said call, and two men, both being representatives of the Rovuellian Navy, would arrive and then set about the process of paying the bail at full price.
Elsewhere, a day later, Jericho and the majority of the Embassy staff would be mostly out and about inside the walls of the compound, though they'd be summoned into the building after. Jericho would after a moment, when he figured out the name of the neighborhood and its street after a bit of close listening and watching, would leave and get into a Jeep with a couple of others. They'd drive down to the area, though park about a block away and sprint the rest of the way there until they reached the neighborhood, with Jericho beginning to look around for the police officer they had seen prior. They knew where his house was - they'd been making preparations to try and protect him in silence, but this had come a bit sooner than they thought and was more broad in scope as well.

Save for a few civilians being towed around by medics, the streets would mostly be populated with firefighters and a few police officers, most of the latter just trying to prevent traffic from driving down except the inbound firetrucks that were coming in quickly but showing up with large gaps between them. The people on the scene seemed no more interested in helping them in their search than they were in helping others, treating the whole thing as a problem that would be worked on at once and not take special care of any one specific request.
The house itself would be in pretty bad shape, the heat of the fire having shattered the windows, allowing the raging fire to spill out through the windows. Smoke could be seen coming out between the tiles, showing the fire was breaking its way into the attic, and the whole structure was nearing the end of its support. There would be a single car in the two-car driveway, the garage door closed so none could see inside. There would be some firefighters on the front lawn, spraying at the fire through the open windows of the second floor.

The men would gather up and start to look around, though one of them, named Rico, would make their way to the edge of the lawn, examining the structure. Another would disappear from the group, and disappear behind the buildings and going into the backyard while Jericho and the other man with them would after a moment, step back and watch for the moment.
"...I guess we know what he was referring to yesterday." The other man says, his name tag reading 'Vul'.
"..This is too far." Jericho says. "And I will not let this end well. I'm going to bring this shit to light somehow."
The other man, Rico, is prying about to hunt for anything of note, though he wouldn't enter the building unless something piqued his interest.

The building would seem eerily quiet, only the sounds of the fire crackling and what one can assume to be the internal structure slowly cracking. There would be more commotion coming from the other buildings, where some people are still evacuating from the risk of the fire spreading to their house or trying to get the firefighters to retrieve pets or valuables left inside. This house would have none of that, only the men on the front lawn spraying water into the building and the Rovuellians walking around the premises.

As Jericho and Vult would move back and step away from the house, Rico would settle himself into a spot and wait. He figured he would proceed inside when the fire was under control, and Jericho and the other two would move away back to the other side of the street, sitting down to watch the fire as it would rage ahead of them. The men quietly talked to one another as Rico would soon retreat from sight entirely, and move away into the underbrush, rejoining his friends and watching the men go about their job.
"Do you think they'll pull out a body?" One asks.
"..Hope not." Jericho says quietly.

The blaze would rage on for several more hours, the fire finally being put under control and stop its spread. They began to concentrate their efforts on the worse of the houses, the first included. The fire would finally be put out, but the fire crews would mark it as unsafe to enter. The next door neighbor's house would collapse from structural failure, making it take longer to put out the blaze as it could hide under the rubble. The rest of the houses would manage to be put out without incident.
The firemen outfitted some with a high durability suits, allowing them to walk into the houses and minimize the risk of being crushed if the structure fails. They'd search the worst of the houses, while firemen in their standard suits would search the safer houses and the rubble pile. The search would take an hour, someone's cat being pulled out of the rubble but still in decent condition. The family would retrieve it and quickly rush off to the veterinary hospital. As for the rest, nothing living nor dead would be retrieved from inside. As they'd move away from the first house, there would be a loud cracking sound from inside, probably a floor caving or something, but otherwise it'd be quieter than before.

Jericho would rest for the time that the blaze goes on, just watching them try to put it all out. When it was more or less over and there weren't any bodies that had been pulled from the rubble, they would stand up and begin to look around, though not directly approach anybody, to see if he could find that cop from before, his eyes scanning the people and surrounding area for any sign of them, though one of the others would go to the front of the first house to see if they could see or hear anything that might be an indicator of their presence.

The group would be fruitless in their pursuits. No one around looked similar, and it didn't look like any were keen on helping as no one seemed to dare try to approach them. The house would be completely empty, on the faint sound of wood creaking and cracking inside.
The radio in their vehicle would pipe up. Base to Forward One, come in.

The only one in range to hear it would be one of the other two, this one being Vol. They'd grab the radio when they made it over, raising it up and then flicking on the microphone with the small side switch. "Da, this forward one." He'd say. His accent, because he was from a relatively isolated part of Rovuellia, wasn't very different to that of the coastal northerner, so it held that slavic tint.

Report back to base when able. Package received.
The other side would stop transmitting, letting Vol grab the others if he so wishes or stay there if they feel they aren't finished.

They'd be on their way back before the ten-minute mark, speeding their way back. Their arrival would be no less than about twenty minutes after. Jericho makes his way into the embassy with the others, as they go and see where the package itself is and what condition it is in.

As they'd pull up in front of the embassy, there would be a white sedan parked out front, it looking to be in somewhat decent shape, aside from damage from age.
Inside, there would be the officer from a few days ago, along with an older woman who was holding a small black kitten. He'd seem to be consoling her, however he himself didn't look great, so it was clear they came from the same situation. He'd flash his eyes up to the group as they came in, however wouldn't focus on them for too long before going back to the woman next to him. One of the embassy's guards would step over, filling them in. "This is officer Trey Voli and his mother Marianne Voli. They came here seeking refuge, said they knew you, Jericho."

Jericho would look at him as he approached, and listen. A nod is what he renders, and he would step to the side a little bit to get a look at them and the others. "Alright. Go prep a couple of the side-rooms for a bit of a stay. We have cots in the basement, the tall and thin boxes in the far right corner. Hard to miss them." He'd say, patting them and then moving away to go over to Trey.
"Are you two alright? Either of you hurt?" They'd ask as he approached.

The guard would salute, stepping away quickly. They'd motion to some other ones, them following along to the basement.
Trey would look up as he heard Jericho's voice, realizing he's being spoken to. "Y-yeah...A bit shaken up, but we'll live." He'd sigh. "We heard a window break and suddenly the smoke detectors went off. I didn't know what else to do besides come here... It clearly wasn't an accident, but...I don't know..."

"It wasn't an accident. But I doubt they're going to find anything they'll tell the public." He'd say to them. "Bring your car into the lot, and park it near the wall, away from the sight of others by the gate. Then I want you both to come inside of the embassy, so we can keep you out of view and try and figure out the rest of this situation." he would tell them. "I have an idea. But I'm gonna need your help for it I imagine." He would tell them, then stepping back. "Now get this moving." He would say, before he would head to the embassy himself, while the other two would nod their heads and just move off to the sides to stand watch at the gates.
