Trey would nod, "Yessir." He'd start up the vehicle and do as he said, driving to the back lot out of sight of the main road. Once it was parked, the two of them would walk inside, the mother still holding the kitten tightly, who seemed more than content with the amount of purring it was giving off, probably the attention. Trey would motion towards some chairs that were out of sight, his mom walking over there and sitting down. Trey went over to Jericho, his hands in his pockets. Now that he was out of the vehicle and out of uniform, it was quite easy to tell how young he was, no more than early to mid 20s.

"You look very.. young, now that I get a look at you out of the uniform. Odd how the clothing we wear makes us look." They'd say, before they would lightly gesture for him to follow, leading over to the far wall. "You and your mom will be safe behind the walls of the embassy. The building's mostly concrete and anything else that's flammable is already on the inside, with plenty of fire extinguishers and a sprinkler system. It's also under constant guard, so.." He'd wave a hand. "No need to worry here, hopefully."
"As for what I wanted to talk about.. well." he would rub the back of his head. "..I want to get the Rovuellian Federal Security Bureau, more specifically the FSB Operatives Division, involved. I also want to know the events leading up to this most recent shitshow and what happened at the police station after I left, that morning that I stole your wallet and had that guy give it back to you and so on."

He'd shrug, looking at the ground for a moment. "Yeah, I joined the force as soon as I could to try and help pay the bills..."
He'd look back up at Jericho. "I thank you greatly for your kindness. Our only options were here or to go to my grandparents' house up in North Tanus, and who knows if they'd look for us up there or not. This was the closer and arguably safer option."
He'd listen, nodding. "I handed the tapes over to the evidence department, then copied my report twice, bringing the original home with me, gave a copy to my commander, and filed the other copy in my desk. My boss told me to go home, so I did, and as I was leaving the guy was turning in my wallet." He'd shrug. "I guess I feel comforted in knowing it wasn't out on the street all night, but I'm amazed you were able to take my wallet without me noticing."

"I'm seventy years old. I've lived through the great depression. You learn some neat tricks when you're on the streets." He'd say. "That and it's not very hard really, people don't tend to notice anything missing unless the weight is actually significant enough you can feel it, or pressure, etc." He'd wave a hand and rest his side against one of the pillars in the lobby. "I can't imagine you still have that original copy, do you?" They'd ask them. "or your ID, anything else we can use to try and bring what happened to light?"

"You don't look seventy, I must say."
"Actually I do." He'd pull out his wallet, taking out his ID. From the internal flap, he'd open it and pull out some papers, handing it over. "They're a bit creased, but that's my version of the report from that night."

"Our lifespans.. maybe four times as long as the average human. I'm in my early thirties to give a comparison, physically speaking." he'd say. He'd look at the papers as they hand them over to him, and he would take them. He'd nod, and then look at him. "Alright, now.. the FSB. You do know what that means, yeah?" He'd ask them. "They're gonna want details. They're gonna want a lot of details." He'd tell them.

"You said it earlier, the Federal Security Bureau. But I don't have a clue what they do." He'd shrug. "I know our nations are close, but do they have the operational authority to come here?"

"You said it earlier, the Federal Security Bureau. But I don't have a clue what they do." He'd shrug. "I know our nations are close, but do they have the operational authority to come here?" "I mean frankly, if they want in, there's no one that can actually stop them. They're military police in essence, just very, very well trained. They're very good at handling cartels." He would make his way to the side, and go to a phone. "They're going to help figure out who torched your house, why and what we'll be doing as a response. In the meantime.. I dunno. Get food or sleep. It'll be a bit before they arrive. Any of the staff can help you, or I can too. It might be as bit, I need to make calls." He would say.

"But..." He'd stop himself, figuring it best to just shut up and not fight it. He was only a field officer, after all, what did he know about political dynamics.
He'd nod. "Where's the cafeteria here? I should probably get something for my mom."

They'd go to pick up the phone, though a hand stops him as it comes from around the pillar the phone was on, then slowly pushing it down as a Kithium man in a white button shirt and black khaki pants, complete with black gloves and shoes steps out from the cover of. The raccoon slowly pulls their hand back, and raises their hands a bit, stepping back some.
"The issue has already been taken care of. The VDV and FSB are on their way." They'd say. "And some SITONI agents as well." They say, the rings in their eyes briefly diminishing in size as they focused onto Jericho, and then onto the man behind them. Their presence had made the rest of the group, having not really noticed them, immediately stiffen and freeze almost, expressions of visible concern apparent across the room. As they then would make their way past them, they'd watch and follow with their eyes. "..Alright.." Jericho says, "what are you.. doing out here?" They ask, though don't receive much an answer beyond a gesture for them to shut up. Nodding his head and just closing his mouth, hands resting on his hips as the cat disappeared from sight, he'd clear his throat, the room then growing warmer as faces seemed to normalize and activities resumed.
"..It's this way." He says, gesturing for him to follow. "They should be open." He would say to them. "Hope you like Pasta, since that's all they've got this week. That and ceaser's salad." He'd roll his eyes. They'd start to make their way down the hall, taking a left to distinctly avoid the right side, of which had a large iron door over it and a pyramid label over it, radiating that same icy feeling with its colors. He'd lead him along and take a right, and then a left into the cafeteria. It'd be fairly empty, but there were people, mostly Rovuellian guards and some of diplomatic staff, a janitor or two on break sitting off in the break area the cafeteria was attached too.
"Get something for your mom and yourself. The cafeteria is all hours, so you should be able to get food whenever you need. Though after nine it's self-serve." He'd say. "They have coffee, soda, so on. Alcohol has to be paid for and its watered down, but beer is beer I guess." He points to the counter, and then steps back. "Feel free."

Trey would stare at the person who has emerged from the shadows, not exactly sure what to make of them, but getting the idea they're pretty important with the way everyone acts around them. He'd remain silent, figuring it best not to intrude.
He'd follow along, his eyes darting around the hallways and viewing the doors, though never locking on for too long as even he could feel the foreboding presence of some of the rooms.
Once they finally reached the cafeteria, he decided then was best to speak up. "Who was that guy back there?"

"We don't talk about that guy. And I suggest you don't ask questions about him either. You won't get an answer." They would say. "other than.. ONI." They would look back at the door, and then go back to observing the cafeteria. "Moving on from that, uh.. yeah I've basically told you everything you need to know about the cafeteria really. Today is uh.. I think it's Chicken Alfredo." They'd say, looking over at the sign, squinting a bit to see it. "The guy should have your cots set up in your rooms by now. At least should, anyway, I dunno for sure." He would tell them, turning to make his way out of the room. "I'm going to be in the lobby if you need me."

"Yessir." He'd get a pretty uneasy feeling from that answer. Most people seemed to have themselves well put together, especially Jericho in the few times he's spoken to him, but that other guy seemed to throw out everyone's rhythm. He'd go and grab the food, bringing it back to the lobby and handing the second plate to his mom. It pulls out an extra small plate he grabbed, scraping some chicken onto it and placing it into the seat next to them for their cat to have while they eat.
They'd eventually be finished and a different staff member would show them to their rooms, the three of them taking refuge there for a bit before Trey finally comes back to the lobby. He'd sit across from Jericho, not speaking a word, but staring intently off into space.

Trey would find the man to be sitting in a seat alone for the most part, the others mostly gone save a few that were busy reading or were handling some personal business at the buildings bank-noter, chatter barely audible given the sound-proof cloth and foam they had set up around it, and unintelligible. He was working on his AK-73M, cleaning out the barrel of the gun. He'd look up at them as they sat down across from him, and then would turn his eyes back to his weapon, finishing up with the barrel and then setting it down quietly as to not disturb the quiet of the room. It was pretty late by now, hitting about 9:00 PM given that a good bit of time had passed by now.
After a few more minutes passed, he'd look up at them. "..Are your accommodations alright?" They'd ask him quietly as they began to put the rifle back together.

He'd nod, still staring off into space before he'd finally turn back to him. "Yeah." He'd pause. "Again, thank you for doing this for us. We'll try not to be a burden on you guys for long." He'd stare down at Jericho's hands, watching as he puts the rifle together. "How long until the F-...FSB arrives?"
