"They should be here soon. If they aren't already, anyway." They would say as they would put the rifle back together fully, and then settle the stock back into place, before pulling the bolt back. It'd be a loud ping, and it'd jar everyone, but they all would go back to their stuff once they realized what it was and dismissed it. Some of the others that had passed out were startled. He'd set the rifle back down and then turn to the door as there'd be a light tap. One of the guys would unlock it, and stepping inside would be several men wearing black suits and holding large briefcases and equipment carriers, making their way past. On the crates, would be "Ф С Б".
"There they are now." They would say.

He'd jolt slightly in his seat from the ping, not used to a weapon larger than a handgun. He'd settle back in his seat after a moment, just staring at it before he'd hear the knock. He'd turn to the door, watching as the guard would open it and the men walk in. He'd nod before turning back to Jericho.
"What do they do, exactly...?"

"Extra-judicial law enforcement, basically. On the side they're lawyers." They would tell them. "They're probably going to want to set themselves up and such before they start to question you or anything." They would say as they rested back against the seat, rifle on the table ahead of them, a rag resting at the side of it. They'd sigh, and then stretch their legs a bit, before a yawn breaks through. "Mm."
"About the burden bit. You're not. Don't worry." He'd say.

He'd nod, looking back at the group before back to Jericho. "I figured as such. They have a lot of crates." He'd sink into his chair some, staring back at the rifle. "They've probably frozen our bank accounts, so we don't have much to pay with besides what I have on me."

"You don't need to pay. It's a free of charge service." They would say. "It's.. pretty shit that they burned your fuckin' house down over this." They would say. "..I think I know a guy that was involved with it. At the police station as well. I don't know if there is really much I can do in the way of finding him though." They would say.
"Gave me that cryptic 'worth the price' bullshit." He'd wave a hand. "I'm sure he was in on it, so all we need to really do is find him. Then the FSB can make him break.. or god forbid ONI." They'd look at the hallway briefly.

He'd nod, then sigh at the mention of his house. "They showed no signs of caring up until then. No one's attitudes changed. My commander was upset after the incident with the news, but otherwise none showed any change towards me...I don't know...There's a reason I'm a response officer, not a detective. I can't read people."
He'd glance towards the hallway as well, then back to Jericho after seeing nothing. "You seem to constantly glance away whenever you say ONI. What are they?"

"The Office of Naval Intelligence." They'd say. "..The scariest component service to the Navy and by extension, the armed forces overall." They'd cross their legs. "They do terrible things alongside SITONI and SITOC so that they can achieve their goals, which I guess is okay in the end so long as it's not to me.." They would say. "They have been well known for being great spies too. That fucker, Janus, appearing out of god damn nowhere, holy fuck.." he'd rub his temples. "Best spies, like I said."
"..We just need to find the officer I say when they went to go and grab their guys from the Police Station, after the whole incident at the news station. We need to find them, and then with them we can get plenty of evidence and figure out the locations, names.. get a playbook going. And maybe line a cartel or cabal up for a clean up in the aftermath."
They'd look at the hallway as a man came out, wearing a green-white pattern digital camo ACU and making his way to the table. He'd plant himself down in it, being a Demi-Festri, having raccoon ears and a bushy tail but lacking most other features, simply having splotches of red on his pale skin. He brushes his white hair out of his face and smiles to them, before looking at Trey. "It's nice to meet the two of you. Janus told me where you both were."
"I'm not shocked. I'm pretty sure he's bugged the room." They'd say. "Trey, is it?" The man asks as he looks at them. "I'm Davol. Pleasure to meet you." They'd say, holding a hand out to him. His shoulder had three patches, one being of a Crimson flag with six hexagons, one being the Rovuellian flag, and then the last being the letters 'FSB' in Common Tongue, rather than Old World like the crates were.

"Janus...That name seems familiar. He's the guy from the news station, is he not?"
"Can you describe him to me? I could probably tell you who it is."
He'd turn to face the man as he heard the door close, the first loud sound in a while. He'd watch as he walks over, eyes trained on him. "Yessir," he'd say as the man asks his name. "Please to meet you as well." He'd look over the patches before back to Davol's face.

"They're not the same. The other Janus is still locked up I think, no one can get him until he's gone through his trial I assume." They would look at the man. "From what I know, yeah, that's the case."
Jericho would cup his hands together, and think back to the police station. "He was an older man, a Human. They were more decorated than the younger one they sent out before them to convey the news to us." He would say. "And they sort of stood there and told us off. Which I don't blame him but still." They'd rub the side of their head for a moment, and then add "His demeanor was confident. He gave me that cryptic as shit "if it's worth the price" thing and then went back."
The other guy is just writing it all down.

"They'll be in jail until his trail, yes. I think I overheard them saying they were gonna fine them, really meaning they would fine Rovuellia, three million for damages. Then they'd ship them to the nearest border checkpoint and release everyone there under the condition they don't return." He'd shrug.
"Decorated..." He'd think for a moment. "If the younger one was blonde hair, decently handsome, looked kinda like the stereotypical perfect cop, that was probably Jason. If it was black hair, looks like he's had his hand in the donut box too long, that's Marcus. Those are the only other two 'fresh' officers like me. As for the older guy, that description matches five of them since it's not really all that much, either Lieutenant Era, Sergeant Jackson, Sergeant Millani, Sergeant Derinmacallis, or Corporal Col'his. More than likely one of the sergeants if they spoke in riddles."

"Hm. We need to get pictures of the men, or at the least visually identify the ones of whom are supposed to be responsible or involved. If we can catch one of the sergeants, or all of them and get some pictures, we'll be able to handle either a forceful extraction, or kidnapping if you wanna go that far, or we can at the least implicate someone with responsibility." They would say. Jericho nods his head, and then shifts a bit. "What's the time?" They ask idly.
"Fairly late. We could if we wanted to stake the place out from a nearby roof top. We do have binoculars or a sniper rifle optic." They would say, Jericho humming and putting his hand to his chin. "..Hey, Trey. You up for that idea?" They'd look to him.

"They'll have to leave the compound eventually. Most of them have lives outside of the force, I think." He'd shrug, his eyes drifting off and staring at nothing in particular. "How you get them better be effective though, because one slip and they'll probably call for all of the ambassadorial staff to be arrested."
He'd shake his head. "It's better to stake from the room of a nearby building, but not the rooftops. You can't exactly see inside of the station beyond the front entrance, there are very few windows. They constantly sweep the streets around the perimeter, and enough helicopters take off and land that you'd spend most your time hiding, so it's better to take a room that's a little higher than the compound walls, so you'd want a third or fourth floor. The third floor may still be too low, I've never actually been in any of the neighboring buildings, but with a street's distance between the station and the next building on all sides, they've limited the visibility angles from the surroundings."

"We can set up in a hotel if we wanted to." They would say. "Either that, or we can find a vacant room in one of the nearby buildings and set up inside of it." They would shift a bit. "Then we can just spot from the spot and watch the front of the compound, see if we can get any IDs on the guys coming out of there." They would say. "We can start setting this up pretty much immediately." They would say. "I'll have one of our local contacts do a few quick run throughs and figure out what buildings might be good for the task, and we'll have a few men go through documents to see if we can get anything that might be good enough." They'd say.
Jericho nods, and then relaxes in his seat. "You should get some sleep." They would say to Trey.

He'd nod, thinking for a moment. "The north side, the main entrance, has an office building across the street. The south side, the high value entrance, has the mall's parking lot with the mall just south of that. The east and west are also office buildings, however they don't view anything important. But the south side is a covered location, so you'd only see vehicles entering and leaving, no one on foot or anything like that."
He'd shrug. "Probably should...or at the very least check on my mom."

"We'll see what we can do with the information we have and what we'll get from our agents in the field." They would say, standing up and heading out.
"Probably." Jericho would stand up slowly, stretching out. "You should go check on your mother."
